Latviešu dejas vieta sabiedrībā un kultūrā: horeogrāfa Harija Sūnas anketu kolekcijas (1965-1994) analīze

Abstract

Maģistra darba „Latviešu dejas vieta sabiedrībā un kultūrā: horeogrāfa Harija Sūnas anketu kolekcijas (1965–1994) analīze” mērķis ir apkopot un pēc iespējas plašāk izanalizēt H. Sūnas savāktos līdz šim nepētītos materiālus, kas glabājas Latviešu folkloras krātuvē. Darbā apskatīta arī līdz šim publicētā literatūra par latviešu deju. Lai iegūtu vispusīgu informāciju, analizēts ne tikai anketu saturs, bet arī anketu aizpildīšanas veids un iesaistītās personas. Pētījumā iegūstamas ziņas par 20. gadsimta vēstures procesu ietekmi uz kultūras dzīvi un sabiedrības uzskatiem par dažādiem notikumiem. Konkretizēts kā latviešu deja lietota un uztverta, mainoties politiskajiem un sociālajiem apstākļiem minētajā laika posmā.

The goal of master's thesis „The Role of Latvian Dance in the Society and Culture: The Analysis of Surveys (from 1965 till 1994) Collected by Choreographer Harijs Suna” is to collect and analyse in depth the materials collected by Harijs Suna, which are kept in The Archives of Latvian Folklore and have not been studied until now. To acquire comprehensive information, not only the content of the surveys has been analysed but also the way in which the surveys have been filled in and the individuals involved. The thesis provides information on how historical processes influenced cultural life and how the society perceived various events in the 20th century. It has been specified how Latvian dance was used and perceived in the given period of time when political and social circumstances were changing.
