Sieviete Livonijas 13.-16.gs. pilīs: arheoloģiskās liecības Latvijas teritorijā

Abstract

Darbā izmantojot dzimtes aspektu, mēģināts identificēt sievietes iespējamo klātbūtni un darbību Livonijas perioda pilīs Latvijas teritorijā. Pētījumi par šī perioda sievietēm ir maz un tie balstīti uz rakstīto avotu bāzes. Šajā darbā autore apzina un analizē arheoloģisko materiālu, kas var dot papildus ziņas par sievieti. Darbā analizēts 20 piļu materiāls, kurās kopumā konstatēti 2194 priekšmeti, kas var liecināt par sievieti. Tie sistematizēti un analizēti pēc to funkcijas. Atsevišķās nodaļās aprakstītas avotu un literatūras ziņas par sievieti un viņas darbību Rietumeiropā un Livonijā 13.-16.gs., pēc arheoloģisko materiālu rādītās informācijas aprakstītas liecības par apģērba gatavošanu, par ēdiena gatavošanu, rotām un higiēnas piederumiem.

Using the gender-specific aspects of work, author seek to identify the possible presence of women and the possible working spheres of the palaces in the territory of Latvia, that were built by Teutonic order and bischops in 13th- 16th century. Studies of this period women are few and are based on written source database. In this work, the author will identify and analyse archaeological material that can give further details about the woman. There has been analysed a total of 20 palaces, where are found 2194 items, which may be used by a woman. It is combined and analysed according to their function. In separate chapters there are described the written source and literature about the woman and her activities in Western Europe and Livonia in 13th- 16th century. An archaeological material describes the evidence on clothing and cooking and hygiene supplies.
