Etnonīmi latgaliešu folklorā: lingvistiskais aspekts

Abstract

Promocijas darbā aktualizēts jautājums par etnonīmiskās leksikas identificēšanas, tipoloģijas un semantikas noteikšanas problēmām un iespējām. Pētījuma avots ir latgaliešu folkloras tekstu korpuss, kurā fiksēti 1653 etnonīmiskās leksikas vārdlietojumu gadījumi. Darbā sniegts pārskats par etnonīmiskās leksikas (etnonīmu, etnikonu, etnisko iesauku) daudzveidību, fonētiskajiem un morfoloģiskajiem variantiem, nosakot centra un periferiālo leksiku latgaliešu folkloras valodā. Etnonīma denotāts jeb referents (etnoss) atklāts tipizēta un stereotipizēta tēla veidā. Izmantojot kognitīvās lingvistikas metodoloģiju, veidotas jēdzienu sistēmas (piemēram, ‘latvieši’, ‘krievi’, čigāni’ u. tml.), atklājot semantisko kodolu (t. i., biežāk lietotā etnonīma kontekstuālās nozīmes) un semantiskās struktūras perifēriju (deetnonīmisku atvasinājumu, etnisku iesauku, semantisku derivātu semantika), kā arī noteiktas interpretatīvā lauka raksturīgākās pazīmes. Realizējot kontekstuālo pieeju, iespēju robežās atklāta etnonīmiskās leksikas specifika latgaliešu folklorā salīdzinājumā ar leksikogrāfijas avotu datiem, citu Latvijas etnogrāfisko novadu un lietuviešu folkloras leksiku, salīdzināti etnonīmu semantikas izveides vēsturiskie apstākļi un attiecīgās teritorijas etnodemogrāfiskā situācija. The thesis raises the issue of problems and opportunities related to identification, typologicy and semantical determination of ethnonymic lexicon. Latgalian folklore texts were chosen as the source for the research where 1653 cases of used ethnonymic lexical units were detected. The thesis provides an overview of diversity, phonetical and morphological variants of ethnonymic lexicon (ethnonyms, ethnicons, ethnic nicknames), by determining the central and peripheral lexicon in the language of folklore. Referent of ethnonym (ethnos) is revealed in a typified and stereotyped way. By using methodology of cognitive linguistics, systems of concepts were developed (for example, ‘Latvians’, ‘Russians’, ‘Gypsies’, etc.), revealing the semantic kernel (i.e. the frequently used contextual meanings of ethnonyms) and the periphery of semantic structure (semantics of de-ethnonymic derivatives, ethnic nicknames, semantic derivatives), and characteristic features of the interpretive field were determined. By implementing the contextual approach, pecularities of ethnonymical lexicon in Latgalian folklore were identified as far as possible in comparison with data of lexicographical sources, lexicon in the folklore of other Latvian ethnographical regions and in the Lithuanian folklore. Besides, historical circumstances of the semantics of ethonyms and ethno-demographic situation in the specific territory were compared. Keywords: ethnonyms, folklore, semantics, cognitive linguistics.
