Skolas kā daudzfunkcionāla kopienas centra attīstība pārmaiņu apstākļos

Abstract

Aijas Tūnas promocijas darbs pedagoģijā, skolas pedagoģijas apakšnozarē, „Skolas kā daudzfunkcionāla kopienas centra attīstība pārmaiņu apstākļos” izstrādāts Latvijas Universitātes Pedagoģijas, psiholoģijas un mākslas fakultātes Pedagoģijas nodaļā Dr. habil. paed., prof. Irēnas Žoglas vadībā laika posmā no 2011. līdz 2015. gadam. Promocijas darba mērķis ir, pamatojoties uz teorijas, starptautiskās pieredzes un Latvijas skolu paplašinātas darbības analīzi, atklāt saikni starp skolas kā daudzfunkcionāla kopienas centra veidošanos un izmaiņām skolas, skolotāju un kopienas darbībā un attiecībās. Promocijas darba apjoms ir 202 lpp. un 16 pielikumi. Pētījuma 1. daļā veikta teorētiskā analīze sabiedrībā notiekošo pārmaiņu ietekmei uz skolas kā sociālas institūcijas darbības mērķiem, darbību un attiecībām ar apkārtējo sabiedrību. Pētījuma 2. daļā sniegts pētījuma metodoloģijas izklāsts, bet 3. daļā raksturota skolas veidošanās par daudzfunkcionālu kopienas centru Latvijā, analizējot skolas paplašinātās darbības virzienus un attīstības modeļus. Apkopojot teorētiskās analīzes un empīriskā pētījuma rezultātus, var secināt, ka skolas kā daudzfunkcionāla kopienas centra paplašinātās darbības atbilst sabiedrībā notiekošajiem procesiem un vajadzībām, un tā ilgtspēja atkarīga no skolas un skolotāju apzinātas un mērķtiecīgas spējas mainīties, veidojot jauna veida attiecības un sadarbības tīklus ar cilvēkiem un organizācijām apkārtējā sabiedrībā. Promocijas darba nobeigumā sniegti galvenie secinājumi, atbilstoši sākotnēji izvirzītajam pētījuma jautājumam, kas atspoguļo darba zinātnisko un praktisko novitāti. Aija Tūna’s Doctoral Thesis, “Development of the School as a Multifunctional Community Center in the Changing Conditions”, in Pedagogy with sub-discipline School Pedagogy was elaborated in the period of 2011–2015 at the Department of Pedagogy, Faculty of Education, Psychology, and Art, University of Latvia, under the supervision of Dr. habil. paed., Prof. Irēna Žogla. The goal of the Doctoral Thesis is to reveal the linkage between the development of the school as a multifunctional community center and transformation in the performance of and relationship among the school, teachers and community, underpinned by the theoretical analysis of the international experience and extended activities of the schools in Latvia. The volume of the Thesis is 200 pages and 16 appendices. Chapter 1 of the study presents a theoretical analysis of the impact of changes in the society on the school as a social institution, its goals, action, and relations with the surrounding society. Chapter 2 describes the methodology applied. Chapter 3 characterises transformation of the school into multifunctional community centre in Latvia providing analyses of the new directions of activities and models of development. Analysis of the theoretical material and the results of the empiric study leads to the conclusion that extension of the functions of the school is in line with the current processes and needs of the society. Its sustainability depends on intentional and purposeful capability of school and teachers to change developing a new type of relationship and cooperation networks with people and organizations in the surrounding community. At the end of the Thesis the main conclusions are provided, which have been made correspondingly to the initially defined research task and reflect the theoretical and practical contribution of the work in the development of education science and practice.
