Bakalaura darbs „Suņa motīvs Ķīnas tradicionālajās mākslās” veltīts tam, lai pierādītu, ka, pretēji rietumos izplatītajiem uzskatiem, suņa tēls dziļi iesakņojies Ķīnas tradicionālajās mākslās. Līdzīgi kā citur pasaulē, Ķīnā suns tiek uzskatīts par vienu no senākajiem cilvēka pieradinātajiem mājdzīvniekiem. Šī dzīvnieka motīvs Ķīnas tradicionālajās mākslās pastāvējis jau no tās pirmsākumiem. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kā suņa motīvs iezīmējas Ķīnas kultūrā un dažādos tradicionālajos mākslas veidos. Veicot Ķīnas tradīciju, mitoloģijas, literatūras un mākslas analīzi, darba autors secina, ka Ķīnas tradicionālajās mākslās suņa tēlam ir ilgstoši bijusi svarīga nozīme. Mākslā skaidri iezīmējas suņa duālais raksturs, kā rezultātā, darbos tiek raksturotas gan pozitīvas, gan negatīvas minētā dzīvnieka rakstura īpašības. Līdzīgi tiek arī attēlota sabiedrības attieksmes dažādība pret šiem mājdzīvniekiem. Bakalaurs darbs „Suņa motīvs Ķīnas tradicionālajās mākslās” sastāv no 6 daļām un tā kopējais apjoms ir 55 lpp. The purpose of bachelor paper "The motive of dog in the traditional arts of China" is to prove that opposed to the western thought, the motive of dog take roots deeply in the traditional arts of China. In China just like in other parts of world it is believed that dog is one of the first domesticated animals. The motive of dog is found in the arts from the very begging. The purpose of this paper is to look into how this motive is shown in the traditional arts. By doing an analysis of the Chinese tradition, mythology, literature and art, the author has come to the conclusion that the motive of dog has been an important part of the arts. The dualism a dog’s character is clearly shown in the arts, which means that in the arts both the positive and the negative aspects of dog’s character are shown. Also, in the same way society’s attitude towards dogs is shown. Bachelor paper "The motive of dog in the traditional arts of China" consists of 55 pages.
