Velosipēdu ražošana Latvijā 1940.g. jūnijā - 1941.g. jūnijā

Abstract

Darba mērķis ir sniegt pārskatu par Latvijas velosipēdu ražošanas plānoto un reālo attīstību laika posmā no 1940. gada jūnija, kad valsti okupēja Padomju Savienības spēki un nodibināja padomju varu, līdz 1941. gada jūnijam, kad sākās Vācijas un PSRS karš. Darbā arī tiek apskatīti sovjetizācijas procesi Latvijā pēc tās okupācijas. Tas tika darīts, lai sniegtu ieskatu pārmaiņās, kas norisinājās valsts pārvaldē un tautsaimniecības vadībā apskatītajā laika posmā, īpaši pievēršoties pārmaiņām velosipēdu rūpniecībā. Vietējā velosipēdu ražošanas nozare bija svarīgs tautsaimniecības sektors un paraugs rūpniecības attīstībai un eksportspējai. Tāpat kā pārējā tautsaimniecība, 1940.–1941.gada mijā velosipēdu ražotnes piedzīvoja būtisku pārorganizāciju.

The objective of this research is to provide an overview of the planned and implemented development of the Latvian bicycle manufacturing industry from June 1940, when the country was occupied by the Soviet Union till June 1941, when war broke out between the USSR and Nazi Germany. The work also includes a recap of the sovietization processes in place after the occupation of Latvia, as to give an insight in the changes which took place in the state apparatus and the management of the economy, putting an emphasis on bicycle manufacturing. The local bicycle manufacturing industry was an important sector of the economy and an example of export-minded industrial development. Just like other sectors of the economy, it transformed significantly during the turn of the years 1940 and 1941.
