Takarazuka teātra ietekme uz krosdresinga attēlojumiem Japānas populārajā kultūrā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Takarazuka teātra ietekme uz krosdresinga attēlojumiem Japānas populārajā kultūrā” tiek pētīts, kā Takarazuka Revue teātra ietekmes un iespaida rezultātā tiek attēlots krosdresingsJapānas populārajā kultūrā un kā krosdresinga attēlojums ir mainījies laika gaitā. Darba mērķi ir: uzrādīt krosdresinga piemērus Japānā no vēsturiskā skatupunkta un definēt tā nozīmi sabiedrībā, parādīt Takarazuka teātra krosdresinga īpatnības, kā arī noskaidrot, kā Takarazuka teātra darbība ir ietekmējusi krosdresinga tematikas piemērus dažādos Japānas populārās kultūras mēdijos. Tika secināts, ka Takarazuka teātris ir izveidojis Japānas sieviešu pārģērbšanās, jeb krosdresinga klasiku, uz kuras pamata 21. gadsimtā radās jauna krosdresinga kultūra, dekonstruējot un subversējot Takarazuka tradīciju, aizņemoties no tās estētikas un arhetipiem. Darbs sastāv no divām daļām. Pirmā daļa tiek veltīta krosdresinga jēdzienam un tā vēsturei Japānā, ieskaitot Takarazuka teātri, un tā specifiskam dzimuma attēlojumam uz skatuves. Darba otrajā daļā tiek analizēti Takarazuka teātra iespaidotie krosdresinga piemēri Japānas anime,manga un aidolu grupu mūzikas video. Darbā ir 46 lpp. neieskaitot literatūras sarakstu un pielikumu.

The bachelor thesis „The Influence of The Takarazuka Theater on Portrayals of Crossdressing in Japanese Pop Culture” explores how the Takarazuka Revue Theater has affected the portrayal of crossdressing in Japanese pop culture and how that portrayal has changed over time. This paper aims to: show examples of Japanese crossdressing from a historic point of view and define its meaning for Japanese society, to highlight the peculiar points of the crossdressing seen on the Takarazuka stage and to find out how the activities of the Takarazuka theater have influenced thematic examples of crossdressing in various Japanese pop culture media. Based on the research it was concluded, that the Takarazuka theater created the classic Japanese female crossdressing tradition, which, by using the Takarazuka aesthetic and archetypes, deconstructing and subverting them, became the basis for a new crossdressing culture in the 21st century. This paper consists of two parts. The first part of the paper explains the term ‘crossdressing’ and its in history in Japan, including the Takarazuka theater history and the specifics of its gender portrayal. The second part of the paper analyses Takarazuka inspired examples from Japan’s anime, manga and idol music videos. There are 46 pages in this bachelor thesis, not including the bibliography and appendix.
