Laika-aspekta formu lietojums ES likumdošanas aktos

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt laika-aspekta formu lietojumu Eiropas Savienības sagatavošanā esošajos tiesību aktos. Šis darbs ir aktuāls diskursa lietotājiem, kas ir iesaistīti Eiropas Savienības tiesību aktu sagatavošanā. Darbā tiek pielietota diskursa analīze, kas vērsta uz valodas lietojuma izpēti. Literatūras pārskats ietver diskursa un teksta jēdzienus, kā arī laika-aspekta formas angļu valodā un problēmas-risinājuma retorisko struktūru. Darba empīriskā daļa atklāj laika-aspekta formu lietojumu sagatavošanā esošajos tiesību aktos. Tekstā novērojama informatīvā valodas metafunkcija, tāpēc aktos tiek lietotas laika-aspekta formas, ar kurām iespējams izklāstīt faktus un sniegt informāciju, kā, piemēram, vienkāršā tagadne un vienkāršā pagātne. The present thesis aims to reveal the use of tense-aspect forms in the EU preparatory acts. This research is topical to the members of discourse community of the English language who are involved in the drafting of European Union legislative acts. The literature review explored the notions of text and discourse as a theory and as a method as well as the tense-aspect form system of the English language and the problem-solution rhetorical pattern. The research method is discourse analysis with the focus of exploring discourse as language in use. It reveals the use the tense-aspect forms in the in the rhetorical pattern characteristic for EU preparatory acts. As the preparatory acts perform the transactional language function, most frequently used tenses are those that can present facts and general information, such as Present Simple and Past Simple.
