Neverbālo komunikācijas līdzekļu lietojums britu un amerikāņu lietišķajās prezentācijās

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīts neverbālo komunikācijas līdzekļu lietojums britu un amerikāņu lietišķajās prezentācijās. Pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt un salīdzināt neverbālo līdzekļu lietojumu apkopotajās prezentācijās. Pētījuma metodes, kuras pielietotas pētījuma izstrādē, ietver ar pētījuma tematu saistītu teorētisko materiālu analīzi un gadījuma izpēti. Šajā darbā teorija tiek piemērota praksē, pētot neverbālās komunikācijas līdzekļus divās lietišķajās prezentācijās. Pētījuma rezultāti atklāj esošās līdzības un atšķirības, kuras pastāv starp britu un amerikāņu oratoriem, ņemot vērā kineksiku, okuleksiku, paralingvistiku un proksēmiku.

The present Bachelor Thesis investigates the use of nonverbal means of communication in British and American business presentations. The goal of the research is to analyse and compare nonverbal modalities in the gathered presentations. The methods of research used to develop the present paper include the analysis of theoretical sources pertaining to the research subject and a case study. The present paper applies theory to practice by examining the means of nonverbal communication in two business presentations. The research findings reveal the observed similarities and differences in the use of nonverbal means between British and American speakers in terms of kinesics, oculesics, paralanguage and proxemics.
