ES prezidentūras programmu žanra analīze

Abstract

Dažādu dokumentu žanri, to sociālie konteksti un retoriskie modeļi ir bieži iepriekš pētīti, tostarp Eiropas Savienības dokumentācija. Tomēr, lai gan ES Padomes prezidentūrai ir nozīmīga loma ES attīstībā, teksta retoriskie posmi (moves), kas veido programmas, lai sasniegtu komunikatīvo mērķi, iepriekš nav pētīti. Līdz ar to, pētījuma mērķis bija veikt četru ES Padomes prezidentūras programmu žanra analīzi, galveno uzmanību vēršot uz to sociālo kontekstu, teksta retorisko posmu struktūru un retoriskajiem aspektiem. Lai sasniegtu pētījuma mērķi, tika veikts sekundārais un empīriskais pētījums. Empīriskā pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka teksta sociālais konteksts, retorisko posmu struktūra un retoriskie aspekti ir saistīti visās atlasītajās ES Padomes prezidentūras programmās. Rezultāti pierādīja, ka programmas pārsvarā sastāv no trim retoriskajiem posmiem, kuros visbiežāk ir lietota uzskaitījuma/saraksta retoriskā struktūra.

Genre, its situational context and rhetorical patterns have often been explored in different business domains in previous studies, including the documentation of the European Union. However, despite the fact that the presidency of the Council of the European Union has an important role in its development, neither the situational context nor the moves included in the programmes have been analysed. Thus, the aim of the Bachelor thesis is to conduct genre analysis of four EU Presidency programmes, focusing on the situational context, move structure and rhetorical patterns. As regards research methods, secondary research and empirical investigation were applied. The empirical results of the analysis revealed that the situational context, move structure and rhetorical patterns are similar for all EU Presidency programmes. The results also highlighted that the programmes mostly include three moves, in which the enumeration/listing pattern was most frequently applied.
