Šī bakalaura darba tēma ir saistīta ar lingvokulturālo iezīmju atveides problēmām franču kosmētikas kompāniju un produktu reklāmas sloganu tulkošanā. Šī tēma ir ļoti aktuāla, tāpēc kā mūsdienās reklāma aizņem svarīgu vietu katra cilvēka dzīvē un ir viena no starpkultūru komunikācijas formām. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt dažādas reklāmas sloganu tulkošanas stratēģijas un noteikt, vai no šīm stratēģijām adaptācija tiek izmantota visvairāk un vai tā ir visefectīva, lai atveidotu lingvokulturālās iezīmes tulkojumā, kā tas ir izteikts citos pētījumos. Teorētiskā daļa ir dažādu profesionālo tulku darbu un pētījumu rezumējums par reklāmas tekstu tulkošanas tēmu. Praktiskā daļa satur 150 reklāmas sloganu analīzes, un ir veikti sēcījumi sakarā ar ievadā izteikto hipotēzi par to, ka adaptācija ir visvairāk izmantota stratēģija franču kosmētikas kompāniju un to produktu reklāmas sloganu tulkošanā. The subject of this research paper is the issues related to the translation of the linguocultural particularities in the advertising slogans of French cosmetics companies and products. This subject is quite relevant because nowadays advertising takes an important place in everyone’s lives, and represents a form of the intercultural communication. The purpose of this research paper is to make a survey of possible strategies for the translation of the advertising slogans and to see if among these strategies the adaptation is the most frequently used and the most effective for the transmission of the linguocultural particularities. The theoretical part is a summary of several works written by professional translators to the subject of the translation of the advertising texts. The practical part contains the analysis of 150 advertising slogans, and the conclusions are made relating to the hypothesis expressed in the introduction to this work that the adaptation is the most used strategy in the translation of the French cosmetics companies’ and their products’ advertising slogans.
