Profesionālās sporta leksiskas attīstība augstskolā

Abstract

Profesionālā leksika ir vissvarīgākais aspekts jebkuram speciālistam kādā noteiktā sfērā, īpaši profesionāliem, augsta līmeņa sportistiem, kuri ceļo un komunicē ar cilvēkiem no visas pasaules. Šī maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt sporta studentu profesionālās leksikas attīstības veidus ar komunikatīvo stratēģiju pielietojumu. Gadījuma izpēte ir izvēlēta kā pētījuma metode un tādi datu iegūšanas instrumenti kā aptaujas, novērošanas, intervijas un izmēģinājuma mācīšana atklāja, ka studenti ir ļoti atsaucīgi, lietojot komunikatīvo mācīšanas pieeju. Profesionālās leksikas attīstība ir visefektīvākā, ja tiek izmantoti komunikatīvi uzdevumi, kuri līdzinās reālām dzīves situācijām. Autentisku materiālu iekļaušana un koncentrēšanās uz galveno leksiku komunikatīvajos uzdevumos ļauj studentiem paplašināt savu profesionālo leksiku un pielietot to praktiski komunicējot.

Professional vocabulary is the most significant aspect for any specialist in a certain field, especially for professional high-level athletes that travel and communicate with people all over the world. The aim of the Master Thesis is to research ways of developing professional vocabulary of students of sports through the application of communicative strategies. Case study is selected as the research method and data collection tools, such as a questionnaire, observation, interviews and pilot teaching showed that students respond to the communicative learning approach very well. Development of professional vocabulary is most effective through communicative tasks resembling real life situations. Incorporation of authentic materials and focusing on key vocabulary through communicative tasks enables students to expand their professional vocabulary and apply it in communication practice.
