Modificējošo iespraudumu lietojums valodas apguvēju komunikatīvo prasmju attīstīšanā

Šī maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt modificējošo iespraudumu lomu ‘Lifestyle’ saziņu grāmatu kontekstā. Teorētiskā pētniecība ir veltīta modificējošo iespraudumu koncepcijas teorijām un saziņas valodas prasmēm. Pielietotā pētījuma metode ir diskursa analīze. Modificējošie iespraudumi tika analizēti frekvences, vispārējās klasifikācijas, veikto funkciju un kopējo efektu izteiksmē. Rezultāti pierādīja ka modificējošo iespraudumu frekvence saziņu grāmatās ir atkarīga no valodas līmeņa un autentiskiem tekstiem, kuriem ir augsta modificējošo iespraudumu frekvence. Tika secināts ka visbiežāk pielietotās modificējošo iespraudumu funkcijas saziņu grāmatās ir vispārinājums, teksta manipulācijas, pieklājība un akadēmiskā precizitāte, kas palīdz uzlabot mācekļu rakstīšanas prasmes un risinājumu pieņemšanas spējas. The present master thesis is aimed at investigating role of hedges in a context of “Lifestyle” communicative textbooks. The theoretical research is devoted to the theories of the hedge concept and communicative language skills. The empirical research method employed was the discourse analysis. Hedges were analysed in terms of frequency, general classification, performed functions and overall effect they produce. The results showed that frequency of hedges in communicative textbooks strongly depends on the language level and authentic texts, which contain the considerably high frequency of hedges. It has been concluded that the most frequent functions hedges perform in communicative textbooks are generalization, text manipulation, politeness and academic accuracy, and allow to improve learners’ writing skills and decision making abilities.
