Lejascīsku apmetne Latvijas neolīta kontekstā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir interpretēt Lejascīsku neolīta apmetni no mūsdienīgā skatījuma Latvijas neolīta izpētes kontekstā. Ar jēdzienu “neolīta konteksts” tiek saprotama apmetņu tipoloģija, hronoloģija, kultūras piederība un dzīves apstākļi. Līdz šim arheoloģiskais materiāls nav plaši publicēts vai analizēts. Par pamatu pētījumam kalpo apmetnes izrakumu dokumentācija un iegūtās senlietas, kā arī vēlāk veiktā keramikas analīze. Izmantojot ģeogrāfiskās informācijas sistēmas (ĢIS) tiek analizēta dažādu senlietu grupu izplatība atsegtajā teritorijā attiecībā pret dažādām kultūrām raksturīgas keramikas izvietojuma. Iztrūkstoša informācija tika papildināta vadoties pēc citu Latvijas teritorijā pētīto apmetņu materiāla. Rezultātā tika rekonstruēti dzīves apstākļi apmetnē un ieskicētas vadlīnijas turpmākai Lejascīsku apmetnes izpētei.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to interpret Lejascīskas settlement from the modern point of view in the context of Latvian Neolithic. The concept of “Neolithic context” includes typology and chronology of settlements, cultural identity and living conditions. Data about Lejascīskas site is not widely published or analyzed. The basis of study is the material obtained from archaeological excavations (artefacts and excavation records) and pottery analysis. Artefact groups depending on their location between different types of pottery in this thesis analyzed using Geographic Information System (GIS). Missing information about Lejascīskas settlement supplemented by data on other Latvian Neolithic sites. Research allows to model living conditions and includes further plans of studying the settlement.
