Lielvaru sadursme: Japāna un Ķīna 21.gadsimtā

Abstract

Āzijas reģiona bagātajā vēsturē vienmēr ir bijušas divas valstis, kuras izcēlās starp citām ar to, ka vienmēr cīnījās viena pret otru politiski un militāri. Tās, protams, bija Japāna un Ķīna. Pazemojuma Gadsimta beigas Ķīnā un postošo Japānas Nosacīto Bezierunu kapitulāciju (t.s. Conditional Unconditional Surrender) pēc Otrā Pasaules kara var uzskatīt par jaunu sākumu, kad šīs valstis kļuva par pasaules vadošiem spēlētajiem. Neskatoties uz to, ka pēc Otrā Pasaules kara attiecības starp abām valstīm sāka uzlaboties, tas diemžēl, neturpinājās pārāk ilgi. Šobrīd attiecības starp Japānu un Ķīnu ir vēsas un neizskatās, ka nākotnē kaut kas mainīsies. Šajā darbā darba autors vēlētos izanalizēt kļūdas, ko abas valstis ir pieļāvušas pagātnē un to ietekmi uz abu valstu attiecībām. Apskatīt iespēju atjaunot normālas attiecības nākotnē vai arī, kā rekomendēja premjer-ministrs Šidehara38, nogaidīt kad “Politiķi būs pietiekami gudri” lai atrisinātu problēmas un strādātu kopā, veidojot abpusēji izdevīgu sadarbību nākotnei.

Throughout the years of rich history between Asian countries there have always been two of them which stood out above others and have always been at arms politically or militarily. Those countries were no other but Japan and China. An end of Century of Humiliation claimed by China and devastating Conditionally Unconditional Surrender of Japan in the World War II could easily be noted as the biggest turning point for both countries on the global political arena, however relations between the two could not have lasted long enough and once again became quite tense in the recent years with future looking grim towards any improvement of the relations between the two. In this work, I would like to try to analyse the past mistakes of the countries, its severity and see whether both countries have any chance on re-establishing proper relations or whether as once suggested by Prime Minister Shidehara to shelve current issues aside until there will be leaders “wise enough to solve them” and work together for the mutually beneficial future together.
