Valdnieka jēdziens Senķīnas legālistu tekstos un Nikolo Makiavelli filozofijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma “Valdnieka jēdziens Senķīnas legālistu tekstos un Nikolo Makjavelli filozofijā” veltīta divu sociālpolitisku filozofiju (legālisma un makjavellisma) salīdzināšanai ar kopīgo un, daļēji, atšķirīgo “valdnieka” jēdziena aspektu pētīšanai. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt abu filozofiju izcelšanās laikmetus, priekšnoteikumus un mudinošus faktorus, īsi izsekot filozofiju atslēgidejām, un, balstoties uz secinājumiem, iedziļināties konkrēti valdnieka institūta specifikā. Nikolo Makjavelli idejas par valdnieku, galvenokārt, tiek izklāstītas viņa slavenākajā darbā “Princis”, kamēr legālistu idejas saturas vairāku Senķīnas filozofu rakstos, no kuriem autore izvēlējās Šan Jana, Haņ Fei un daļēji Šeņ Dao sastādītus tekstus. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no piecām daļām. Darba pirmā daļa veltīta legālisma filozofijas kopīgam pārskatam, otrā – Nikolo Makjavelli filozofijas pārskatam. Trešajā daļā tiek piedāvāts detalizēts valdnieka un valsts ierēdņu attiecību pārskats. Ceturtajā – valdnieka kultivējamas īpašības ar diviem apakšpunktiem – legālistu valdnieka kā bezpersoniskas pozīcijas kvalitātes un taktikas, un Nikolo Makjavelli autoritāra līdera kvalitātes un taktikas. Piektajā un pēdējā daļā autore piedāvā kopsavilkumu, īpaši izdalot abu filozofiju līdzīgus izcelšanās apstākļus, līdzīgus filozofiju mērķus, kā arī sistematizē valdnieka jēdziena līdzības. Darba apjoms: 45 lpp.

The title of this thesis is “Ruler in Ancient China’s legalist and Niccolo Machiavelli’s philosophies”, and it is devoted to the comparison of the two social-political philosophies, to the analysis of concordant and contradictory aspects of the ruler. The goal of the current work is to research background of both ideologies, its influence and peculiarities, as well as to explore the key ideas of both legalism and Machiavellianism with later deeper analysis of the concept of a ruler. The ideas of Niccolo Machiavelli on the concept of ruling are represented in one of his main works, the book called “Prince”, while legalist ideas are contained in several ancient books, mainly compiled by Shang Yang, Han Fei and Shen Dao. The thesis consists of five major chapters. The first part is devoted to the introduction of legalism, the second part elaborates on Machiavelli and his philosophy. The third part offers detailed analysis of the understanding of a ruler, as well as of his relationships with ministers and the bureaucratic apparatus. The fourth part analyses separately qualities of the ruler. The first section of the fourth chapter explains the ruler from the legalist standpoint, namely as the impersonal institution, while the second section of the fourth chapter describes the Machiavellian ruler as the authoritarian leader and his tactics. In the fifth and last chapter, the author of this thesis offers her brief summary of gathered facts, namely – historical background similarities of both Renaissance Italy and the Warrying States period in Ancient China, concordant reasons and goals, as well as the systematized summary of main aspects of the ruler, on which both legalism and Machiavellianism agree. The total amount of the work is: 45 pages.
