Etioloģiskais mīts Rodas Apollonija poēmā Argonautika: nozīme poēmas poētikā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir Etioloģiskais mīts Rodas Apollonija poēmā Argonautika: nozīme poēmas poētikā. Mērķis ir pētīt etioloģiskā mīta lomu un atbilsmi hellēnisma laika perioda literatūras prasībām, un tā nozīmi poēmas poētikas ietvaros. Etioloģiskie mīti ir mīti, kuri paskaidro dažādu dabas un kultūras īpatnību rašanos. Ar etioloģisku mītu var saprast jebkuru leģendu, kas ir saistīta ar dažādu ģeogrāfisku nosaukumu rašanos, kalnu, jūru, apdzīvotu vietu veidošanos. Etioloģiska rakstura elēģiju kopums ir Kallimaha darbs Cēloņi, kurš hellēnisma laikā bija iemantojis popularitāti un kalpo par sava veida teoriju hellēnisma dzejai. Pētījumā tiek analizēta Rodas Apollonija poēma Argonautika. Šis darbs ir unikāls ar savu žanru hellēnisma laikmeta literatūras ietvaros. Bakalaura darba pirmā nodaļa ir teorētiska, kurā tiek aplūkotas hellēnisma laikmeta īpatnības, literatūras iezīmes, kuras ir raksturīgas šim laika periodam, mītu iedalījums un sniegta informācija par autoru, un viņa darbu. Otrā nodaļa ir praktiskais pētījums. Tajā ir raksturoti un klasificēti poēmā atrastie mīti, aplūkots, kā mīti darbojas poēmas poētikas izveidē. Pētījumā secināts, ka etioloģiskie mīti ir plaši izmantoti poēmā, tiem ir gan retardējoša, gan arī norises paskaidrojoša un notikumus saistoša nozīme. The theme of the bachelor’s thesis is Aetiological myth in Apollonius Rhodius' poem Argonautica: significance in the poem poetics. The aim is to explore role of the aetiological myth and its conformity to literature of hellenistic period, and its significance in the poem poetics. Aetiological myths are myths, which explain origins of natural and cultural phenomena. Aetiological myth could be any legend, which is connected with emergence of different geographical names, formation of mountains, seas or places. Callimachus’ poem Aetia, which has aetiological character, was very popular in the hellenistic age and was known as a theoretical material of hellenistic poetry. There will be analyzed poem Argonautica of Apollonius Rhodius. This poem is unique by its genre in the hellenistic literature. The first part of this paper is theoretical and shows the main qualities of the hellenistic period, features of literature, which are important to that time, myth classification and give information about the author and his work. Second part is investigation. This part consists of description and classification of myths which are found in the poem, and displayed how myths operate in the creation of poem poetics. In the conclusion of investigation was found out that aetiological myths are widely used in the poem, they have retarded and binding events significance as well.
