Teatralitāte Barrija Ansvorta romānos “Moralitē” un “Rubīns viņas nabā”

Abstract

Šis bakalaura darbs ir veltīts analīzei starp teātri un reālo dzīvi Barrija Ansvorta romānos Moralitē un Rubīns viņas Nabā. Šī tēma ir svarīga, jo teātris atspoguļo reālās dzīves situācijas, skatītāji var atpazīt sevi varoņos uz skatuves, veikt secinājumus par savu dzīvi. Abi romāni parāda, kā teātra izrādes ietekmē reālus cilvēkus un, iespējams, var izmainīt apstākļus viņu dzīvē, kā arī atklāt patiesību vai ļaunumu pasaulē ārpus teātra. Pētījuma mērķis ir veikt teātra izrāžu un cilvēku lomu dzīvē un uz skatuves analīzi, un parādīt kā teātris ir saistīts ar reālo dzīvi. Pētījumā izmantotas tādas metodes kā teksta analīze, teorija par teātri, viduslaiku lugu veidiem, sociālām lomām un varas attiecībām. Šī pētījuma rezultāti parādīja, ka starp teātri un dzīvi ir spēcīgs starpsavienojums un cilvēki spēlē lomas ne tikai uz skatuves, bet arī reālajā dzīvē. Secinājums parāda saistību starp teātra izrādēm un varoņu dzīves apstākļiem abos romānos.

The present paper is devoted to the analysis of the interconnections between theatre and real life in the novels written by Barry Unsworth Morality Play and The Ruby in Her Navel. This theme is important because theatre reflects real life situations and spectators can recognize themselves in characters on the stage and make conclusions according to their own life. Both novels show how theatrical performances influence real people and might change some circumstances in their life as well as reveal the truth or the evil in the world outside the theatre. The goal of the paper is to analyse theatrical performances and roles of people on the stage and in life and point out how theatre interconnects with real life. The methodology of the research includes text analysis, theory on the theatre, medieval types of plays, social roles and power relations. The results of the current research have revealed that theatre and life have strong interconnections and people play roles not only on the stage, but also in real life. The conclusions of the paper emphasize the interconnections between theatrical performances and characters’ life circumstances in both novels.
