Britu un amerikāņu angļu valodas krājuma lietojums publikācijās tiešsaistē

Abstract

Mūsdienās internets ir kļuvis par neatņemamu daļu cilvēkā dzīvē, tāpēc arī ir kļuvusi lasīšana tiešsaistē. Tā rezultātā cilvēki apstrādā daudz informācijas tīmeklī, ikdienā lasot blogus, komentārus par sociālo mediju, avīžu rakstiem vai ziņām uz dažādām tēmām, tostarp politikā, ekonomikā, sociālajos jaunumos, medicīnā, izklaidēs, sportā, biznesā un citām tēmām. Teorētiskie rezultāti liecina, ka pastāv atšķirības starp amerikāņu angļu un britu angļu valodas variācijām, piemēram, gramatikā, vārdu krājumā un pareizrakstībā. Kā arī teorētiskā daļa ietver diskusiju par tīmekļa krājumu. Frekvenču analīze un kvalitatīvā analīze tika izmantota kā galvenās izpētes metodes. Empīriskā daļa koncentrējas uz nepieciešamu datu iegūšanu un sniedz autora pētījumu analīzi. Šī pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka britu angļu un amerikāņu angļu vārdi tiek izmantoti amerikāņu un angļu laikrakstos tiešsaistē.

Nowadays the internet has become an integral part of people life, so has become reading online. As a result lots of information on the web by daily reading of blogs, posts on social media, newspaper articles or news about different topics, including politics, economics, social news, health, entertainment, sports, business and other topics. The theoretical results indicate that there exist differences between American English and British English language varieties, for example in grammar, vocabulary and spelling. As well the theoretical part comprises the discussion on the web as a corpus. Frequency analysis and qualitative analysis was applied as the main research method. The empirical part focuses on obtaining the necessary data and presents the analysis of the author’s research. The results of this research prove that the British English and American English words are used in the American and English online newspapers.
