Psihoanalītisko tekstu tulkošana no angļu valodas latviešu valodā

Abstract

Šajā maģistra darbā tiek pētīta psihoanalītiskā terminoloģija un psihoanalītisko tekstu tulkošana. Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot psihoanalītisko tekstu tulkošanas īpatnības, izpētīt terminoloģiju un izveidot psihoanalītisko terminu glosāriju. Autore ir pētījusi tulkošanas teoriju un speciālā lietojuma valodas tekstu tulkošanu. Tāpat pētīta terminoloģijas teorija un attīstība. Darba empīriskajā daļā apskatīta latviešu valodā pieejamā psihoanalītiskā literatūra, analizēts glosārijs, kurā autore apkopojusi 140 psihoanalītiskos terminus, un P. Keismenta grāmatas „Psihoterapeits un viņa pacients” tulkojums. Tika noskaidrots, ka psihoanalītisko tekstu galvenā iezīme ir bagātīgi lietotā psihoanalītiskā terminoloģija, kurai raksturīga internacionalizācija, bet no citiem speciālā lietojuma valodas tekstiem tie atšķiras ar to, ka ciešamā kārta tajos netiek plaši izmantota.

This master thesis is devoted to exploration of psychoanalytic terminology and psychoanalytic text translation. The goal of the paper is to find out peculiarities of psychoanalytic text translation, to examine terminology and to create a glossary of psychoanalytic terms. The author has studied and compared the theory of translation and translation of the Language for Specific Purposes. The theory of terminology and its development has also been studied. In the empirical part of the thesis psychoanalytic texts available in Latvian have been described. A glossary with 140 psychoanalytic terms collected by the author and the translation of P. Casement’s book “Learning from the Patient” have been analysed. It has been found out that the main feature of psychoanalytic texts is richly used psychoanalytic terminology which is characterized by internationalization but in contrast to other specialized texts passive voice is not widely used.
