Diktāta loma angļu valodas mācīšanā

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba uzdevums bija izpētīt diktātu lomu angļu valodas apmācībā. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, tika analizēti septiņdesmit divi diktāti, kurus bija rakstījuši astoņi studenti. Analīzei tika izvēlēti trīs parametri: pareizrakstība, diktātu veidi, pieļautās kļūdas. Tās mērķis bija noskaidrot, kā un vai diktātu rakstīšana uzlabo pareizrakstību, kuri diktātu veidi ir visefektīvākie un vai diktātu rakstīšana vispār veicina angļu valodas apreizu apguvi. Darbā tika pielietots pētnieciska metode: gadījuma izpēte. Darbā tika analizēti literatūras avoti un septiņdesmit divi diktāti. Analizētā tēma ir būtiska katram, kurš ieinteresēts un saistīts ar valodas apmācību. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka diktāti palīdz uzlabot pareizrakstību, tomēr katrs veids palīdz dažādākā pakapē. Visefektivākais veids ir diktāts ar tukšumiem, tradicionālais diktāts ir gandrīz tik pat effektīvs , taču diktātu raktīts pāros effektivitāte ir pavisam maza. In this bachelor paper the role of dictations in English language teaching was analyzed. To achieve the goal seventy two dictations of eight students were investigated. Three i features were chosen for the analysis: spelling, types of dictations, mistakes. The goal of the paper was to find out if the dictations are effective in teaching spelling, what type of dictation is more useful and effective in correct spelling teaching of the English language. The research method was applied: case study. Secondary sources about the researched theme and seventy two dictations were analyzed. The data obtained from the sources and dictations were analyzed in the given paper. The theme is considered to be important, for everyone who is interested and connected with language teaching. The results show that dictations help to improve spelling, however, every type helps in different degree. The most effective type of dictation is dictation with gaps, traditional dictation has almost the same level of usefulness as dictation with gaps and dictation in groups helps to improve spelling in very low degree.
