Seksualitātes sociālā organizācija: ārzemju studentu piemērs Latvijā

Abstract

Šajā bakalaura darbā ir apskatīta seksualitātes sociālā organizācijas ārzemju studentu Latvijā kontekstā, par galveno datu ieguves metodi izvēloties daļēji strukturētas intervijas ar pilna laika un apmaiņas programmu studentiem. Interviju gaitā tika iegūti dati, kas ļāva salīdzināt ārzemju studentu starpkultūru pieredzes seksualitātes ziņā, īpaši pievēršot uzmanību iespējamajām izmaiņām dažādo seksuālo orientāciju pārstāvošo studentu pašu seksuālajā identitātē un uzvedībā, kā arī viņu uzskatos, par pētījuma problēmu uzstādot kultūras vides ietekmi tās maiņas rezultātā. Pētījumā tika secināts, ka kultūras vide var atstāt būtisku ietekmi uz studentiem, kas ierodas studēt citā valstī, seksualitātes sociālo organizāciju, liekot pielāgoties, atklājot jaunas esamības formas un apzīmējumus un mainot jauno cilvēku uzskatus par sevi un citiem.

In this bachelors thesis is examined the social organization of sexuality in context of foreign students in Latvia, opting semi-structured interviews with full-time and exchange program students as the main source of data gain. Data was gained which allowed to compare the intercultural experiences of foreign students in terms of sexuality, especially paying attention to the possible changes in sexual identity and behavior, as well as opinion among students of different sexual orientations, the issue being the impact of changing cultural environments. The study concluded that the cultural environment can leave a significant impact on students’, who arrive to study in a different country, social organization of sexuality, making them adjust, discovering new forms of being and terms and changing the young people’s opinions of self and others.
