Sumō attīstība un situācija mūsdienu Japānā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma „ Sumō attīstība un situācija mūsdienu Japānā” izvēlēta ar mērķi, lai iepazītos ar sumō no dažādiem aspektiem un izpētīt, kā tas ir mainījies gadu gaitā. Sumō ir unikāls cīņas sporta veids, kas ir bagāts ar tradīcijām un rituāliem. Tas atspoguļo Japānas kultūru un ir saglabājies līdz mūsdienām gandrīz nemainīgā veidā. Taču pēdējos gados, tā popularitāte ir gan augusi, gan kritusies, tāpēc šis pētījums papildus arī mēģinās atrast cēloni šīm izmaiņām. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek apskatīta Sumō vēsture un tā īpatnības. Sumō sevī ietver ko vairāk, nekā tikai sporta veidu, tāpēc tur tiks atklāta šī termina plašākā nozīme. Tiks pārskatīta sumō rašanās vēsture un attīstība Japānā. Otrajā nodaļā tiek aplūkota mūsdienu sumō globalā kontekstā un kā tas ir mainījies līdz ar ārvalstnieku parādīšanos sportā veidā, kā arī nedaudz tiek aplūkota dzimumu problēma. Darba rakstīšanā tiks izmantota aprakstošā metode - apkopojot informāciju un pamatojoties uz daudzveidīgas literatūras apskatiem; izmantota arī vēsturiskā metode - aplūkojot sumō vēsturi no senajiem laikiem līdz mūsdienām.

The bachelor thesis topic "The Development of Sumō and the Situation in Contemporary Japan" was chosen with a view to acquaintance with the various aspects of sumō and to explore how it changed over the years. Sumō wrestling is a unique sport, rich in culture, tradition and rituals. This reflects the Japanese culture and has remained unchaged till now. But in recent years, its popularity has both increased and decreased, so in addition, this research will also try to find the cause of these changes. The first chapter is devoted to the history of sumō and its features. Sumō is more than just a sport, therefore it will be considered in a broader concept. Appearance and development of sumō in Japan will also be considered. The second chapter is devoted to modern sumō in the context of globalization and how it has changed along with the appearance of foreigners in big sports, alsto the gender problem will be considered as well. This paper is written by using the descriptive method for summarizing the information that is based on a variety of literature sources. Also, the historic method is used to look at the history of sumō - from ancient times to the present day.
