Dejas nozīme Vecajā Derībā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Dejas nozīme Vecajā Derībā” mērķis ir izpētīt dejas atspoguļojumu Vecajā Derībā, gūstot priekšstatu par dejas praksi Senās Izraēlas sabiedrībā. Mūsdienās arvien trūkst visaptverošas monogrāfijas par šo tematiku, lai gan attiecīgā sabiedrības daļā arvien pastāv diskusijas par to, vai Bībele akceptē dejošanu? Autore izvirza tēzi, ka, neskatoties uz nosacīti atturīgo attieksmi pret deju Vecajā Derībā, deja (līdzās dziedāšanai un mūzikas instrumentu spēlēšanai) ieņēma nozīmīgu vietu Senās Izraēlas sabiedrības ikdienā un Jahves kultā. Tēzes pierādīšanai pirmajā nodaļā tiek sniegts vispārīgs ieskats dejas sastopamībā Vecajā Derībā. Otrajā darba daļā tiek analizēta terminoloģija, kas veltīta dejai Vecajā Derībā. Savukārt darba beidzamo nodaļu veido Vecajā Derībā konkrēti minēto dejas piemēru analīze un teoloģisks izvērtējums. Balstoties uz neskaitāmu autoru komentāriem un, pateicoties, temata izpētei, darba ietvaros apstiprinājās izvirzītā tēze. Šī pētījuma ietvaros tika arī noskaidrots, ka visnotaļ rezervētā attieksme pret deju Vecajā Derībā saistāma ar vēlmi distancēties no apkārt esošo citu tautu ietekmes, kaut arī vairākkārt pētījuma laikā noskaidrojās, ka formas ziņā Vecajā Derībā minētie dejas gadījumi bija ļoti bieži sastopami citās Seno Tuvo Austrumu kultūrās, kas liek izdarīt secinājumu, ka šajā reģionā pastāvēja diezgan nopietna kultūru mijiedarbība.

The aim of bachelor thesis “Dance role in the Old Testament” is to explore the dancing reflection in the Old Testament, in the same time giving an idea what kind of the dance practice was in ancient Israeli society. Nowadays there is lack of a comprehensive monograph or studies on this subject, although in the relevant sector of the society there are still discussions about dance meaning and whether the Bible accepts dancing? The author puts forward the argument that, despite the relatively lukewarm attitude about dance in the Old Testament, dance (along with singing and playing a musical instruments) took an important place in everyday life of ancient Israel's society and in Yahweh cult. In the first chapter author provides a general insight into the dance occurrence in the Old Testament. In the second part of the work author analyses the terminology, dedicated to dance in the Old Testament. Bur in the final chapter of this research can be found theological analysis of specifically dance cases in the Old Testament. Based on the numerous author comments and thanks to the topic research, author confirmed the thesis. During this study, it was also found out that quite a reserved attitude to the dance in the Old Testament can be attributed to a desire to distance themselves from the surrounding people's influence, although on several dace occasions during the study it was showed that the form of the dances, mentioned in the Old Testament, was very common to dance forms in other ancient Middle Eastern cultures. This leads to the conclusion that in this region there was quite serious cultural interaction.
