Latvijas Komunistiskās partijas Bauskas rajona komitejas darbība (1987-1991)

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma “Latvijas Komunistiskās partijas Bauskas rajona komitejas darbība (1987-1991)” ietver laiku no 1987.gada jūnija, kad PSRS vadītājs Mihails Gorbačovs uzsāka perestroikas jeb pārkārtošanas politiku, un sabiedriskā kustība „Helsinki 86” ar ziedu nolikšanu pie Brīvības pieminekļa aizsāka Atmodas laiku, līdz 1991.gadam, kad Latvija atguva valstisko neatkarību un Latvijas Republikas Augstākā padome 23.augustā pieņēma lēmumu „Par Latvijas Komunistiskās partijas antikonstitucionālo darbību”. Darba mērķis ir pētīt kā Atmodas laika procesi un Latvijas Komunistiskās partijas šķelšanās ietekmēja LPSR LKP Bauskas rajona komitejas darbību no 1987. līdz 1991.gadam. Pētāmais laika posms iezīmē vēsturiskas pārmaiņas Latvijas Komunistiskās partijas organizācijā - notiek partijas šķelšanās un izveidojas divi pretspēki. Pirmais spēks bija komunisti, kuru interesēs bija saglabāt Latvijas Komunistisko partiju bez izmaiņām, paliekot PSKP sastāvā. Otrais spēks bija nacionālkomunisti (LNKP), kas iestājās par neatkarīgas komunistiskās partijas veidošanu, un neatkarīgu Latvijas valsti. Šķelšanās ietekmēja visu partiju, tostarp LKP Bauskas rajona organizāciju un Bauskas rajona komitejas darbu.

The theme of the Master’s thesis “Activity of the Bauska district committee of the Communist party of Latvia (1987-1991)” covering the period from June 1987 when the head of the USSR Mikhail Gorbachev initiated his new policy of perestroika,or in other words, restructuring of economic and social progress, and when the organization “Helsinki 86” with laying flowers at the Monument of freedom, started the Awakening period, until 1991, when Latvia regained its independence and the Supreme Council of the Republic of Latvia on the 23rd of August adopted the resolution “About the Latvian Communist Party unconstitutional action”. The aim of the research is to find out how the process of the Awakening period and the schism of Latvian Communist Party (LCP) affected activity of the Bauska district committee of the LCP from 1987 till 1991. During this time LCP experienced historical changes – due to schism, the party was formed into two counterforces. The first force was the communists, whose interest was to keep the LCP with no changes in the structure of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The second force was the national communists who argued for an independent Communist Party and Latvian state. This schism also affected the LCP Bauska district organization and Committee.
