Oskars Šindlers – varonis? Patiesība un izdoma Spīlberga filmā

Abstract

Šis bakalaura darba nosaukums ir “Oskars Šindlers – varonis? Patiesība un izdoma Spīlberga filmā”. Šī darba temats ir Oskara Šindlera varonība Otrās pasaules kara laikā, glābjot ebrejus no iznīcināšanas. Darba mērķis ir pierādīt Šindlera varonību, glābjot ebreju dzīvības. Sekmīgu fabrikas vadīšanu viņš samaina pret vairāk nekā tūkstoš ebreju glābšanu, labi apzinoties, ka var iekļūt par to cietumā vai pat saņemt nāvessodu. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkota ebreju tautas vēsture Vācijā, Oskara Šindlera biogrāfija un filmas/grāmatas Šindlera Saraksts analīze. Praktiskajā daļā tiek salīdzināti filma un grāmata, kā arī tiek salīdzināta Oskara Šindlera personības atspoguļošana tajos. Pētījumā procesā noskaidrots, ka Oskars Šindlers parādīja īstu varonību, palīdzot vairāk kā tūkstoš cilvēkiem saglabāt savu dzīvību Holokausta laikā, apstākļos, kad tas viņam pašam varēja beigties ar cietumu vai pat nāvessodu.

This bachelor work is called "Oskar Schindler - a hero? Authenticity and fiction in Spielberg's film ". The work is dedicated to the theme of Schindler’s heroism during the Second World War by saving more than a thousand Jews from death. The aim of this work is to prove that even though Schindler at the beginning presents himself as a business man and a practical factory manager, he soon feels real compassion for the persecuted Jews and becomes a hero by saving them from extermination. The theoretical part tells about the history of the Jewish people in Germany, Oskar Schindler’s biography and the analysis of Schindler’s List book/film. The practical part shows the comparison of the film to the book and also the comparisons of Schindler’s descriptions in them. In the end, the research goal was achieved - it was proved that Schindler saved more than a thousand Jews from death, and that in the conditions where his own freedom and life were threatened, his selflessness made him the hero.
