Uz skolēnu vērstās pieejas elementi mūsdienu angļu valodas mācību grāmatās: mācību grāmatu analīze

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Uz skolēnu vērstās pieejas elementi mūsdienu angļu valodas mācību grāmatās”. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir analizēt un salīdzināt uz skolēnu vērstās pieejas uzdevumus divās mācību grāmatās. Pirmā grāmata ir “Insight Elementary Student’s Book”, kuras autors ir J. Wildman. Otrā mācību grāmata ir “Solutions Elementary Student’s Book”, kuras autori ir P.A. Davis un T. Falla. Bakalaura darbā sastāv no trīs nodaļām par angļu valodas mācīšanu un uz skolēnu vērstu pieeju, kā arī nodaļa par empīrisko pētījumu rezultātiem. Teorētiskā apskata nodaļās tiek pētīti mācību grāmtas novertējuma kritēriji, uz skolēnu vērsta mācību pieeja, un uz skolēnu vērstas pieejas uzdevumu veidi. Bakalaura darbā tiek izmantota teorētisko avotu apkopojošā analīze, kā arī kvantitatīvā un kvalitatīvā pētniecības metode, kas ietver uz skolēnu vērstas pieejas uzdevumu analīzi abās mācību grāmatās. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina par to, ka “Insight Elementary Student’s Book” ir vairāk uz skolēnu vērstas pieejas uzdevumu nekā “SolutionsElementaryStudent’sBook”. Tomēr “Solutions Elementary Student’s Book” piedāvā vairāk variantus katra uzdevuma veidam nekā "Insight Elementary Studenta Book", un katrs uzdevuma veids ir atšķirīgs katrā mācību grāmatā. The theme of the bachelor paper is “Elements of Learner-Centred Approach in Modern English Course Books”. The aim of the bachelor paper is to analyse and compare learner-centred tasks in two course books. The first book is “Insight Elementary Student’s Book” by J. Wildman. The second course book is “Solutions Elementary Student’s Book” by P.A. Davis and T. Falla. The bachelor thesis consists of three chapters on the theoretical issues of English language teaching and learner-centred teaching and a chapter about the empirical research results. Theoretical chapters investigate the course book evaluation, learner-centred teaching methods and most common learner-centred task types. The research methods used in this bachelor paper are summative analysis of the theoretical sources and quantitative and qualitative research method that includes the analysis of learner-centred tasks in two course books. The results of the research have led to a conclusion that “Insight Elementary Student’s Book” is more focused on learner-centred tasks than “Solutions Elementary Student’s Book”, however, “Solutions Elementary Student’s Book” presents more variations of each task type than “Insight Elementary Student’s Book” and each task type is presented differently in each course book.
