Vēsturiskā laika tēlojums latviešu un vācbaltiešu dzejā 1905.-1918.gadā: salīdzinošais aspekts

Abstract

Maģistra darbs salīdzina latviešu un vācbaltiešu 1905. – 1918. gada liriku dzejas temporalitātes aspektā, pievēršot pastiprinātu uzmanību vēsturiskā laika atspoguļojumam. Dots ieskats vēsturiskā laika jēdzienā un raksturoti galvenie faktori, kas ietekmē vēsturiskā laika izpratni attiecīgajā periodā, tādi kā vēsturiskās balādes uzplaukums Vācijā, modernisma ietekme, reliģijas tradīcija, kā arī politiskais konteksts Baltijā. Tiek apskatīti galvenie tēli un motīvi, kas izmantoti, atklājot vēsturisko laiku, tādi kā varoņa tēls, femīnā diskursa tēli, vēsturiskās personības. Tiek analizētas būtiskāko vēsturisko motīvu funkcijas, proti, krusta karu motīva kā nacionālās identitātes stiprinoša funkcija O. Šillinga un V. Plūdoņa daiļradē, kā arī sengrieķu motīva kā erotisko uzskatu pārskatīšanas funckija G. Špehta un V. Eglīša lirikā.

This paper analyses the verse of Latvian and Baltic German authors from 1905 to 1918 from the angle of temporality, focusing on the depiction of historic time. The author introduces the concept of historic time in a poem and presents key factors that may have influenced its perception, such as historical ballad in Germany; impact of modernist thought; religous tradition; political context in the Baltics. The paper then procedes with key themes and characters that portray historic time, such as the hero; characters supporting a feminist discourse; historic personalities. The paper concludes by analysing the functions of these themes and characters, such as the role of Crusades as a catalyst for national identity in the works of O. Schilling and V. Plūdons, as well as Ancient Greek motifs in the portrayal of sexuality in the works of G. Specht and V. Eglītis.
