Makrofītu sastopamība un izplatība piekrastes posmā Mērsrags-Engure un to ietekmējošie faktori

Abstract

Baltijas jūra ir otrā lielākā iesāļā ūdens jūra pasaulē. Ir salīdzinoši maz ūdensaugu sugu, kas būtu pielāgojušās šādai dzīvesvidei. Cilvēku radītais piesārņojums izraisa eitrofikāciju, kā rezultā savairojas viengadīgie ūdens augi, kā zilaļģes un brūnās pavedien aļģes, kuras izspiež daudzgadīgās aļģu audzes, tādējādi krasi izmainot piekrastes ekosistēmu. Darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, makrofītu sugu sastopamību un to ietekmējošos faktorus Rīgas līča piekrastē no Mērsraga līdz Engurei, kā arī to apdraudošos faktorus. Tika veikta literatūras izpēte, un pēc pašreiz zināmajiem datiem, konstatētas sastopamās ūdensaugu sugas Baltijas jūrā un Rīgas līcī.

The Baltic sea is the second largest brackish water sea in the world. There is relatively small variety of aquatic plants that have adapted to living in such environment. Anthropogenic pollution leads to eutrophication, which results in overgrowth of few species, such as cyanobacteria (previously known as blue-green algae) and brown filamentous algae, that supplant perennial seaweed and thus significantly changing the costal ecosystem. The aim of the study was to identify the species of macrophyte found in the Baltic sea and the Gulf of Riga and to determine how many and which ones of the species are endangered. A review of literature was performed and based on the data currently available, aquatic plant species occurring in the Baltic sea and the Gulf of Riga were identified and the endangered species were specified.
