Tehnoloģijās balstītu angļu valodas pareizrakstības izpētes un apguves aktivitāšu izmantošana augstskolā

Abstract

Maģistra darbā ir aplūkots tehnoloģijās balstītu angļu vaodas pareizrakstības izpētes un apguves aktivitāšu lietojums augstskolā. Darba mērķis bija izveidot tehnoloģijās balstītu angļu valodas pareizrakstības izpētes aktivitāšu kopumu, kas paredzēts Angļu filoloģijas studientiem, kā arī aplūkot šo aktivitāšu ietekmi uz studentu pareizrakstības prasmēm. Pētījumu apskats par tehnoloģiju lietojumu valodu mācīšanā liecina, ka tehnologijas uzlabo studentu rakstītprasmi un izpētē-balstīta pieeja pareizrakstības mācīšanā tiek uzskatīta par efektīvu stratēģju. Lai izpētītu tehnoloģijās balstītu pareizrakstības izpētes un apguves aktivitāšu ietekmi, tika veikta gadījuma izpēte, kas ietvēra pirmstesta, pēcesta un trīs aktivitāšu kopumu izveidi un pielietošanu. Pētījuma rezultāti apstiprina faktu, ka šāda veida aktivitātes var sniegt studentiem iespēju uzlabot zināšanas Angļu valodas pareizrakstībā.

The present thesis examines the use of technology-based English spelling research and acquisition activities at the tertiary level. The goal of the Master Thesis was to design a set of technology-based English spelling research and acquisition activities for the university students of English philology and to examine the impact of the activities on the students’ spelling skills. The examination of theoretical sources on the use of technology in a language classroom confirmed that technology improves students’ writing skills, and research-based approach to teaching spelling is an effective strategy. In order to examine the impact of technology-based spelling research and acquisition activities, a case study was applied. It included designing and administering a pre-test and post-test as well as three sets of technology-based spelling research and acquisition activities. The results of the study confirm that such activities can offer students the opportunity to enrich their knowledge in English spelling.
