Botāniskais kods krievu buramvārdos.

Abstract

Darbs ir veltīts botāniskā koda pētījumam 17.-19. gs. krievu buramvārdu tekstos. Darba mērķis ir konstatēt visbiežāk sastopamos augu tēlus, to semantiku un funkcionēšanu buramvārdu struktūrā, kā arī to sastapšanas biežumu dažādos buramvārdu tipos. Autors analizē bieži sastopamos botāniskos tēlus pēc sekojošā principa: apskatoties to semantiku un funkcijas un veicot kontekstuālo analīzi ar šo pašu augu tēliem tradicionālajā kultūrā un krievu folklorā, lai konstatētu konkrētu augu tēlu kopīgas raksturīgās īpašības. Tiek analizēts arī botāniska koda elementu sastapšanas biežums dažādos buramvārdu tipos un dažādos buramvārdu strukturālajos elementos. Darbam ir divas daļas. Pirmajā tiek izklāstīti teorētiskie jēdzieni, kas ir nepieciešami pētījuma saprašanai. Otrajā, empīriskajā, secīgi tiek konstatēti botāniska koda funkcijas un semantika un tiek analizēts to sastapšanas biežums dažādajos buramvārdu tipos un buramvārda struktūrā. Pētījums var interesēt filologus, folkloristus, etnogrāfus, kā arī ikvienu šajā jautājumā ieinteresētu lasītāju.

The topic of the research in this study is the botanical code in the texts of 17th-19th century Russian spells. The aim of the study is to identify the most common herbal images, their semantics and functions in the structure of the spells, as well as their frequency in the different types of spells. The author analyses the most common botanical images according to the following principle: by studying their semantics and functions along with a contextual analysis of the images of the same plants in the traditional culture and Russian folklore to identify the common characteristics of certain herbal images, as well as by analysing the question of frequency for the elements of the botanical code in different types of spells and different structural elements of spells. The study is made of two parts. The first part consists of theoretical definitions that are necessary to understand the study. The empirical second part consequently identifies the botanical code elements’ functions and semantics and analyses their frequency in different types of spells and the structure of spells. The study may be interesting for philologists, folklorists, ethnographers, as well as any reader interested in the topic.
