Htoniskā pasaule Lūkiāna tekstos: žanru iezīmes mīta funkcionalitātes aspektā

Abstract

Maģistra darba Htoniskā pasaule Lūkiāna tekstos: žanru iezīmes mīta funkcionalitātes aspektā mērķis ir apzināt un izpētīt htonisko pasauli Lūkiāna tekstos, novērtējot tās klātbūtni, nozīmi un uzdevumus attiecīgā žanra ietvaros. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek skaidrots jēdziens htonisks un aplūkota htoniskās pasaules koncepcija antīkās pasaules ietvaros. Tāpat apskatīti mīta un žanru teorijas aspekti, kā arī būtiskākās autora literārās darbības gaitas. Praktiskajā daļā klasificējot, identificējot un kontekstuāli izvērtējot, tiek apskatīts htoniskās pasaules un tās elementu attēlojums Lūkiāna darbos. Tāpat aplūkotas un izvērtētas literāro žanru iezīmes, kuras parādās identificēto elementu ietvaros. Apkopojot rezultātus ir secināts, ka htoniskā pasaule kalpo gan kā mitoloģisko tradīciju, sabiedrības norišu un vērtību sistēmu attēlojums, gan kā māksliniecisks izteiksmes līdzeklis, kas gan kompozicionāli, gan kontekstuāli palīdz paspilgtināt autora redzējumu par pasauli dažādu literāro žanru ietvaros.

The aim of the Master’s Thesis The Chthonic World in Lucian's Texts: Characteristics of Genres in the Aspect of Myth Functionality is to identify and explore the chthonic world in Lucian’s texts, asserting its presence, meaning and tasks within the framework of the genre. In the theoretical part of the work the concept of chthonic in the conception of the antiquity has been reviewed. As well as the aspects of myth and genre theory, and most important courses of autor’s literary actions. In the practical part by identification, classification and contextual evaluating, the representation of the chthonic world and its elements had been examined in Lucian’s works. Also the features of literary genres, that appear within the identified elements, were examined and evaluated. Summarizing the results it is concluded that the chthonic world serves both as a representation of mythological traditions, social relationships and value systems and as an artistic expression, which both compositionally and contextually helps to visualize the author’s vision of the world in the framework of various literary genres.
