Savējā un svešā aspekts Ovidija "Skumjajās elēģijās"

Abstract

Bakalaura darba Savējā un svešā aspekts Ovidija Skumjajās Elēģijās mērķis ir izpētīt ar kādiem valodas līdzekļiem dzejnieks Skumjajās Elēģijās atklāj liriskā varoņa attieksmi attiecībā pret savējo un svešo. Mērķa sasniegšanai darbā tiek apskatīta gan teorētiskā literatūra par savējā un svešā jēdzienu skaidrojumiem, kā arī leksikas un semantikas jautājumiem, gan arī Ovidija trimdas iemesli un Skumjo Elēģiju raksturiezīmes. Darbā tiek analizēts kādus valodas līdzekļus dzejnieks izmanto, lai sasniegtu savu mērķi – atstātu emocionālu iespaidu uz savu elēģiju adresātiem. Paralēli mūsdienu pētnieku viedokļu analīzei Bakalaura darba autors sniedz savu viedokli par Ovidija liriskā varoņa attieksmi attiecībā pret savējo un svešo. Bakalaura darbā analizētie valodas līdzekļi apskatīti trīs aspektos. Pirmkārt, tiek analizētas leksēmas ar emocionāli ekspresīvo nokrāsu, otrkārt, tiek analizēti tādi funkcionālie tropi kā oksimorons, metafora, salīdzinājums un citi, un visbeidzot valodas līdzekļi tiek apskatīti no morfoloģisko līdzekļu izmantojuma puses.

The aim of the bachelor’s thesis The Aspects of Self and Other in Ovid’s Tristia is to find out, what king of language tools are used by the poet to reveal the main protagonist’s attitude towards self and the other. To achieve the goal the author studied the works of modern scholars on topics like self – concept, individulity and group, semantics and lexicology, as well as information about Ovid’s life and the main causes for his expulsion from the Roman world. The author analyzes what language tools are used to achieve the goal that the poet set out to achieve – leaving emotional impact on those, who read his poetry. In parallel to analyzing the opinions of modern scholars, the author gives their own opinion about the protagonist’s attitude towards self and the other. The language tools analyzed in this paper are seperated into three groups. First of all, the author analyzes emotionally expressive words, secondly, the author analyzes such figures of speech as metaphors, hyperboles and antithesis. Lastly, words are analyzed based on their morphological characteristics.
