Ekvivalence tulkošanā ar automātisko tulkotāju palīdzību: finanšu un biznesa kolokāciju piemērs

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tiek veikts pētījums par biznesa un finanšu kolokācijām franču valodā un to tulkojumiem latviešu un angļu valodā, izmantojot automātiskos tulkotājus Google, Bing, Reverso, DeepL, Yandex un SYSTRAN. Darba mērķis ir izvērtēt šo tulkojumu ekvivalences līmeni, salīdzinot tos ar tulkojumiem, kas piedāvāti attiecīgajos paralēlajos tekstos. Darbs sastāv no divām daļām: pirmajā daļā tiek apskatīts kolokācijas un ekvivalences jēdziens, kā arī automātisko tulkotāju metodes. Otrajā daļā apskatāma automātiskajos tulkotājos veikto kolokāciju tulkojumu salīdzinošā un statistiskā analīze. Veiktā analīze rāda, ka lielākā daļa kolokāciju ir iztulkotas ekvivalenti vai ar sinonīmu palīdzību. Darba apjoms ir 71 lapa, tas satur 4 attēlus, 3 tabulas un 6 pielikumus.

This research deals with French collocations from business and finance and their Latvian and English translations in the following automatic translation tools: Google, Bing, Reverso, DeepL, Yandex and SYSTRAN. The aim of this research is to conduct an analysis of the level of equivalence of these translations in comparison to the translation presented in the corresponding parallel texts. This paper consists of two parts: one deals with the notions of collocations and equivalence in translation, as well as the approaches of automatic translation, the other contains a comparative and statistical analysis of the equivalence of the translations of collocations in automatic translation tools. The results show that most of the translations of the collocations are translated as full equivalents or by synonyms. The research contains 71 pages, including 4 images, 3 tables and 6 annexes.
