Dzelzceļa sistēmas attīstība un jaunu satiksmes līniju izbūve Latvijas Republikā starpkaru periodā

Abstract

Maģistra darba “Dzelzceļa sistēmas attīstība un jaunu satiksmes līniju izbūve Latvijas Republikā starpkaru periodā” mērķis ir izpētīt jauno dzelzceļa līniju Rīga – Rūjiena un Rīga – Ērgļi (ar tās projektēto turpinājumu Madonas un Kārsavas virzienā) izbūves pamatojumu un praksi Latvijas Republikā starpkaru periodā. Darba rezultātā aprakstītas jauno dzelzceļu līniju likumiskā puse, diskusijas dzelzceļa virziena un dzelzceļa platuma noteikšanā. Analizēta jauno dzelzceļa līniju izbūve hronoloģiskā secībā, raksturota un pētīta dzelzceļa satiksmes attīstība, sadarbība ar autosatiksmi. Vērtēti un raksturoti pasažieru un preču pārvadājumu daudzumi dzelzceļos. Kopumā darbs atspoguļo jauno līniju izbūvi no ieceres līdz realizācijai un ļauj izprast dzelzceļa darbības attīstību. Maģistra darba izstrādē izmantotas vairākas vēstures pētījumu metodes: aprakstošā jeb ģenētiskā un salīdzinošā pētījuma metode.

The title of the Master degree paper is “Development of the railway system and construction of new traffic lines in the Republic of Latvia during the interwar period”. The author researches the railway lines: Rīga-Rūjiena and Rīga-Ērgļi with the future project with to Madona and Kārsava destinations, and gives the construction justification and describes the practice in the Republic of Latvia in the interwar period. There is also described the legislation and discussions about the railway direction and width. The author analyzes the construction of the new railway lines in the chronological order and talks about the railway transport development and cooperation with car traffic. The amount of carriage of goods and people on railways is evaluated and described, too. The author gives the information about the construction of new railway lines starting from the very idea till its realization and lets us understand the development of the railway system. In this Master paper different history research methods are used: descriptive and comparative methods.
