Japānas tēls Latvijas presē 20.gs. 20.-30.gados

Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir “Japānas tēls Latvijas presē 20.gs. 20.-30.gados”. Šajā darbā tiek pētīti Latvijas preses 20.gadsimta 20.-30.gadu raksti, kas saistīti ar Japānu, tās sabiedrību, ārpolitiku, literatūru, mākslu un reliģijām. Ņemot vērā to, ka 21.gadsimtā dzīvojošo uzskati diezgan lielā mērā balstās uz agrāk izveidotajiem stereotipiem, darbs palīdz izprast Japānas tēlu latviešu sabiedrības uztverē ne tikai 20.gadsimta 20.-30.gados, bet arī mūsdienās, tāpēc tas ir nozīmīgs gan vēstures, gan kultūras antropoloģijas aspektā. Darba mērķis ir rekonstruēt Japānas tēlu Latvijā 20.gadsimta 20.-30.gados, balstoties uz publikācijām presē. Darbs sadalīts 3 daļās. Pirmajā daļā sniegts ieskats japāņu sabiedriskajā dzīvē un vēsturisko notikumu gaitā. Otrajā daļā apskatīta Japānas kultūra, konkrētāk literatūra un mākslinieciskā daiļrade. Trešajā daļā raksturotas reliģijas, kas visvairāk ietekmējušas japāņu tradīcijas un morālās vērtības – sintoisms un budisms. Darba apjoms ir 64 lappuses.

The title of the work is “The Image of Japan in the Periodicals of Latvia in the 20th-30th Years of the 20th Century”. This paper examines the articles of the periodicals of Latvia in the 20th-30th years of the 20th century that are related to Japan, it’s society, foreign policy, literature, art and religions. Considering that the views of living in the 21st century are largely based on earlier made stereotypes, the work helps to comprehend the image of Japan in the perception of the Latvian society not only in the 20th-30th years of the 20th century, but also nowadays, therefore it is significant in terms of both history and cultural anthropology. The aim of the work is to reconstruct the image of Japan in Latvia in the 20th-30th years of the 20th century that is based on the publications in the periodicals. The work is divided into 3 parts. The first part provides an overview of Japanese social life and historical events. The second part deals with Japanese culture, specifically literature and artistic creation. The third part describes the religions that has had influences the Japanese traditions and moral values – Shinto and Buddhism. The volume of work is 64 pages.
