Prostitūcija latviešu padomju romānā

Abstract

Šī darba galvenā tēma ir prostitūcija Padomju Latvijas prozā, līdz ar to darbā tiek apskatītas problēmas, kas saistītas ar tēmas publicitāti. Darbā tiek aprakstīta prostitūcijas vēsture 19.–20. gadsimtā un ar to saistītās problēmas, prostitūcijas mākslinieciskais izmantojums latviešu autoru prozas darbos. Mērķis ir noskaidrot prostitūcijas tēla esamību Padomju Latvijas prozā. Un noteikt, vai bez fiziskās prostitūcijas romānos tā atveidota pārnestā nozīmē. Noteikt pārnestās nozīmes mākslinieciskās funkcijas kultūrvēsturiskā kontekstā, kā tās tiek atklātas tekstā. Darba rezultāts ir prostitūcijas minimālā pieminēšana Padomju Latvijas prozā, tās problemātika un daudzveidība. Prostitūcijas definīcija darbos tiek sadalīta un rodas divas atšķirīgas uztveres pašam vārdam. Prostitūcija tiek izmantota tiešā un pārnestā nozīmē. Pārnestā nozīme veido prostitūcijas slāņus kā fizisko un garīgo prostitūciju. Šie slāņi atklāj ne tikai prostitūcijas māksliniecisko daudzveidību, bet arī autoru problemātiku ar tēla iekļaušanu prozā.

The theme of the Bachelor Paper is prostitution in Latvian soviet novel and therefore it deals with problems related to the theme’s publicity. The Paper outlines the history of prostitution during the 19th and 20th centuries and its problems, and it describes the artistic use of prostitution in the literary works of Latvian prose-writers. The aim of the Paper is to find the existence of the prostitution character in the prose of Soviet Latvia. And to determine whether, besides the physical prostitution in the novels, it is depicted figuratively as well. Furthermore, to define the artistic functions of the figurative meaning in the culture-historical context, as they are discovered in the text. The findings of the Paper conclude that, in Latvian soviet novel, prostitution is mentioned minimally, it has its problems and diversity. The definition of prostitution in the literary works is divided, thus creating a dual perception of the word itself. Prostitution is used literally and figuratively. The figurative meaning creates layers of prostitution, such as physical and mental prostitution. These layers reveal not only the artistic diversity of prostitution, but also the authors’ problems to include the characters in the prose.
