Tuvo Austrumu patvēruma meklētāju bērnu integrācija Latvijas izglītības iestādēs

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Tuvo austrumu patvēruma meklētāju bērnu integrācija Latvijas izglītības iestādēs” mērķis ir saprast, kā Latvijā dzīvojošo imigrantu bērni no Tuvo Austrumu valstīm integrējas Latvijas izglītības iestādēs, apgūst mācību vielu un ar kādām grūtībām saskaras paši bērni, viņu vecāki, skolotāji un viņu klasesbiedri, kā arī sniegt rekomendācijas integrācijas sekmēšanai. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no trīs nodaļām: Pirmajā nodaļā tiek izpētīts teorētiskais materiāls, apskatot kultūršoku un tā iedalījumu vairākās fāzēs. Otrajā nodaļā ir apskatītas joprojām aktuālas Latvijā dzīvojošo imigrantu problēmas darba tirgū, veselības aprūpē, dzīvesvietas atrašanā u.c. Darba trešajā nodaļā autore veikusi pētījumu un datu apkopojumu par patvēruma meklētāju bērnu integrēšanos Rīgas Pļavnieku pamatskolā. Darba rezultātā tika izdarīts secinājums, ka galvenā problēma integrācijas procesā ir latviešu valodas nezināšana un nevēlēšanās šo valodu apgūt. Darba izstrādē tika izmantotas grāmatas, publikācijas, Eiropas Savienības pētījumi, kā arī darba autores veiktās aptaujas un intervijas. Darbs sastāv no 47 lappusēm, tajā ietverti 18 attēli un pievienoti 5 pielikumi. Darba izstrādē izmantoti 18 literatūras avoti.

The aim of bachelor’s thesis "Integration of Middle Eastern Asylum Seeker Children into Latvian Educational Institutions" is to understand how immigrant children coming from the countries of the Middle East integrate into educational institutions of Latvia, how they cope with the school subjects and what difficulties the children themselves, their parents, teachers and children classmates encounter, as well as to give recommendations for advancing the integration. The bachelor thesis consists of three chapters: The first chapter examines the theoretical material, looking at the culture shock and its division into several phases. The second chapter deals with the current problems of immigrants living in Latvia regarding the labour market, healthcare, finding a place of residence, etc. In the third chapter of this work, the author carried out a study and a compilation of data on the integration of asylum seekers' children in the Riga Plavnieki Elementary School. As a result of the work, it was concluded that the main problem with the integration is the lack of Latvian language knowledge and reluctance to learn it. The work is based on books, publications, European Union researches, as well as surveys and interviews conducted by the author. The work consists of 47 pages, includes 18 pictures and 5annexes, and contains references to 18 sources.
