Latvijas un Polijas attieksme ES bēgļu politikā: salīdzinājums

Abstract

Maģistra darbā “Latvijas un Polijas attieksme ES bēgļu politikā: salīdzinājums” ir aplūkota Latvijas un Polijas atšķirīgā nostāja ES bēgļu politikā. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot un salīdzināt faktorus, kuri ir veidojuši Latvijas un Polijas attieksmi Eiropas Savienības bēgļu politikā. Darbs ir veikts kā kvalitatīvs pētījums, pielietojot literatūras analīzes metodi. Darba pirmajā nodaļā ir aplūkota ES bēgļu politika neoklasiskā reālisma politikas teorijas ietvarā. Otrajā nodaļā ir aprakstīta Latvijas un Polijas iekšpolitiskā situācija attiecībā uz ES bēgļu politiku. Trešajā darba nodaļā ir izanalizēti galvenie iekšpolitiskie un ārpolitiskie faktori, kuri ir noteikuši Latvijas un Polijas oficiālo attieksmi ES bēgļu politikas ietvaros. Darbā tiek secināts, ka Polijas attieksmi galvenokārt ir veidojusi Polijas sabiedrības negatīvā attieksme pret ES un bēgļu politiku, savukārt Latvijas attieksmi galvenokārt ir ietekmējusi politisko līderu vēlme saglabāt labas attiecības ar ES lielvarām.

The Master's thesis “Latvia’s and Poland’s attitude towards EU refugee policy: A Comparison” examines the different official attitudes of Latvia and Poland towards EU refugee policy. The objective of the research is to find out and compare the factors that have determined the attitude of Latvia and Poland in the European Union's refugee policy. The work has been made as a qualitative study using literature analysis method. The first chapter looks at EU refugee policy within the framework of neo-class realism political theory. In the second chapter is described the internal situation of Latvia and Poland towards EU refugee policy. The third chapter analyses the main internal and external factors that have determined the official attitude of Latvia and Poland towards EU refugee policy. In the research it is concluded that the attitude of Poland was mainly shaped by the negative attitude of Polish society towards the EU and refugee policy, while Latvia's attitude was mainly influenced by the desire of political leaders to maintain good relations with the EU's major powers.
