Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Amuleti omamori un to loma mūsdienu Japānas sabiedrībā” mērķis ir noskaidrot “omamori” lietošanas nozīmi mūsdienu Japānas sabiedrībā. Tāpat arī bakalaura darbā tiek apskatīts reliģiskais fons Japānā, kā arī skaidrota prakse piedēvēt pārdabiskas spējas priekšmetiem primitīvo reliģisko uzskatu kontekstā un skaidrots amuleta fenomens. Japānā “omamori” popularitāte pēdējo gadu laikā ir ļoti pieaugusi. Mūsdienās “omamori” tiek plaši izmantoti gan reliģiskā kontekstā, gan sekulāri. Bakalaura darbā “omamori” fenomens tiek pētīts, izmantojot aprakstošo pētniecības metodi, kas ietver materiālu analīzi, vispārināšanu un klasificēšanu, kā arī izmantojot salīdzināmo pētniecības metodi, un tiek risināts jautājums par “omamori” tradīcijas popularitātes iemesliem. Darbs sastāv no 49 lappusēm.

The aim of the bachelor thesis “Amulets Omamori and Their Role in Contemporary Japanese Society” is to clarify the significance of the use of “omamori” in contemporary Japanese society. The religious background of Japan, as well as the habit of attributing supernatural powers to objects in the context of primitive religious beliefs, and the amulet phenomenon in general are also discussed. The popularity of “omamori” in Japan has grown a lot over the recent years. Nowadays “omamori” are widely used both in a religious, as well as a secular context. In this bachelor thesis the “omamori” phenomenon is researched using the descriptive research method, which includes material analysis, generalizing and classification, as well as the comparative research method, and it deals with the reasons of the contemporary popularity of the “omamori” tradition. The work consists of 49 pages.
