dc.description.abstract | Starpkaru Eiropā, procesi pēc Pirmā pasaules kara bija kā visu sociālo problēmu katalizatori modernajai sabiedrībai, kas pārcietusi “kara traumu. Radās moderna sieviete, modernās ģimenes modelis. Līdz ar to, bērnu sociālās problēmas, daži no kuriem bija pārvietoti no to ģimenēm, pat dzimtenes kļūst par vienu no politikas prioritātēm, dažreiz pat veidojot “nacionālā bērna” tēlu. Tādejādi, bērnu sociālā aprūpe jaunā valstī bija jāinstitucionalizē. Maģistra darba Bērnu sociālā aprūpe un Rīgas pilsētas bērnu patversmes 20.gs. 20.gados-1934.gadam: Juglas bērnu patversmes piemērs mērķis ir pētīt Rīgas bērnu patversmju sociālpolitisko un juridisko vēsturi Rīgas pilsētā, starpkaru posmā ar jaunākās parlamentārisma posmā dibinātās- Juglas (1926.) bērnu patversmes piemēru. Juglas bērnu patversme bija patversme skolas vecuma bērniem, ar uzsvaru uz lauksamniecību un rokdarbu apmācīšanu. Darbs atspoguļo Rīgas bērnu patversmju vēsturi, galvenokārt ar Juglas patversmes piemēru, parādot arī audzēkņa sociālo portretu. Darbs analizē arī brīvprātīgo organizāciju lomu versus valsts sociālai politikai, ka arī salīdzina situāciju Latvijā ar dažām citām valstīm Eiropā, izmantojot avotus, kas galvenokārt iepriekš netika izmantoti. | |
dc.description.abstract | In all interwar Europe, processes of WWI, were like catalysts to all social problems for modern society with “war trauma”. Modern woman, modern family model was also created. Because of that the social problems of children, some of who were displaced from their families, and even motherland, or became orphans were one of the main priorities in internal policies, also in creation of “national child”. Therefore, it was important to institutionalize children social care. The aim of Master Thesis Children social care and Orphanage houses in Riga in 1920s-1934: the example of Jugla’s orphanage in Riga is to research the socpolitical and legislative history of the orphanage houses in Riga by the example of the newest established (1926) Jugla Orphanage house in parlamentarism era for schoolchildren with inclination for agricultural and handicrafts courses. Paper shows history of orphanage houses in Riga, mainly Juglas orphanage, also social portrait of the orphan in Juglas orphanage. Work also analyses the role of the social policy versus voluntary organizations affording children social care and compares situation in Latvia with some other European states, by using sources that mainly were not used yet. | |
