Seroloģisko reakciju vērtējums vēlīna latenta sifilisa pacientiem
Abstrakts
The estimation of serological assays for
latent syphilis patients
Abstract
The aim of the current investigation is to evaluate how informative are serological assays for syphilis screening, the confirmation diagnosis of the late latent syphilis and for monitoring of the serological activity and treatment efficacy.
Conclusions
SED, TPHA, ELISA IgG, IgM and syphilis imunoblot IgG are useful for the late latent syphilis screening diagnostics. We do not recommend to use RPR for this purpose due unsufficient sensitivity. The most reliable test to confirm syphilis diagnosis is TPIR and syphilis immunoblot IgG, there is possible to use other treponemal assays for this purpose.
SED and TPIR methods are suitable to monitor syphilis serologic activity and treatment efficacy. According to the results of the current work the estimation of quantitative values of TmpA, TpN15 and TpN47 might be useful to monitor treatment efficacy of patients with late latent syphilis.
