Abstract

Apbedīšanas tradīcijas dienvidrietumu Latvijas teritorijā 1. - 7. gs. Vāvere A., zinātniskais vadītājs Mg.hist. Guščika E., Bakalaura darbs, 58. lpp, Latviešu valodā. Darbā tiek analizēti trīs kapulauki - Rucavas Mazkatuži, Ģeistauti un Vērgales Ošenieki, kapulaukā iegūtais arheoloģiskais materiāls ir salīdzināts ar līdzeno kapulauku ar akmeņu riņķi apbedīšanas tradīciju iezīmēm, to izplatības un izcelsmes kontekstā. Aplūkoti gan kapulaukos sastopamie apbedīšanas tradīciju elementi, gan arī iegūtais senlietu materiāls. Blastoties uz apbedījumu datējumiem veikta telpiskā anlaīze ar mērķi izsekot atsevišķu apbedīšanas tradīciju elementu attīstībai.

The work analyzes the archaeological material obtained at Rucavas Mazkatuži, Ģeistauti and Vergales Ošenieki cemeteries in context of the origins and prevalence of flat cementeries with stone kerbs culture, the main charateristics of its burial traditions and material culture. A comparison is given for finds and observed burial traditions in these three cementeries, with main charateristics of flat cementeries with stone kerbs culture. Based on the burial dates, a spatial analysis is carried out with the aim of tracking the development of individual elements of funeral traditions.
