Abstract

SANDRAS RATNIECES PROMOCIJAS DARBA JŪGENDSTILA POĒTIKAS IEZĪMES LATVIEŠU LITERATŪRĀ LAIKA POSMĀ NO 20. GS. SĀKUMA LĪDZ PIRMAJAM PASAULES KARAM ANOTĀCIJA Promocijas darbs strukturēts četrās nodaļās. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek raksturoti jūgendstila izveidošanās apstākļi Eiropas kultūrvidē. Pirmās nodaļas noslēgumā norādīti jūgendstila norieta cēloņi un raksturotas galvenās norises jūgendstila pētniecībā. Otrajā nodaļā raksturoti Eiropas jūgendstila motīvi, forma un semantika, būtiskākās pazīmes, kas to nošķir no citām kultūras parādībām, ietekme un mijiedarbe ar citiem virzieniem, stiliem. Tiek konstatētas jūgendstila poētikas iezīmes Eiropas (vācu, angļu, krievu, franču) literatūrā, grāmatas un periodikas grafikā. Trešajā nodaļā raksturota jūgendstila ģenēze un stila nozīme latviešu kultūrā, kā arī raksturoti preses izdevumi (Vērotājs, Zalktis) jūgendstila aspektā. Pētījuma ceturtā nodaļa veltīta jūgendstila poētikas iezīmēm latviešu literatūrā, analizēti literāro darbu fragmenti. Nodaļā akcentēti būtiskākie problēmjautājumi, kas raksturīgi latviešu literārā jūgendstila kontekstā, pētīta un ar piemēriem ilustrēta literārā jūgendstila ornamentalizācija tekstā. Nodaļā tiek raksturota zīmīgāko jūgendstila motīvu un simbolu interpretācija latviešu literatūrā. Pētījuma noslēgumu veido “Pielikums”, kurā kā papildmateriāli un promocijas darba uzskates līdzekļi ievietotas tabulas, promocijas darba autores tulkoto parindeņu literārie darbi oriģinālvalodās un attēli.

DOCTORAL THESIS ANNOTATION FEATURES OF MODERN STYLE POETICS IN LATVIAN LITERATURE FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE 20th CENTURY TO WORLD WAR II Author: Sandra Ratniece The doctoral thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter describes the circumstances of the origin of the Modern style in European cultural environment. This chapter points out the reasons of the Modern style decline, as well as gives the most important facts concerning its investigation. The second chapter characterizes the motifs, form and semantics of the Modern style, the essential features that distinguish it from other cultural phenomena, interaction with other trends and styles. In this chapter the features of the Modern style are defined in European (German, English, Russian, French) literature and graphic art in books and periodicals. Chapter three gives the charactristics of the genesis of the Modern style and its significance in Latvian literature. Periodicals such as Vērotājs, Zalktis are analysed from the aspect of the Modern style. The fourth chapter is dedicated to the features of the Modern style in Latvian literature with fragments from literary works included and analysed. In this chapter the author deals with the most relevant issues concerning Latvian literature in Modern style aspect, investigates the ornamentalization of literary Modern style and gives examples from texts, as well as describes the most significant interpretations of the motifs and symbols of Modern style in Latvian literature. The research work is supplemented with an Addendum which contains additional material and visuals – charts, original texts (translated word for word by the author of this thesis) and pictures.
