Padomju Latvijas militārā un politiskā attīstība (1918.gada decembris – 1919.gada jūnijs)

Abstract

ANOTĀCIJA. Promocijas darbā „Padomju Latvijas militārā un politiskā attīstība (1918. gada decembris – 1919. gada jūnijs)” tiek pētīta lielinieku režīma attīstība Latvijā no tā rašanās 1918. gada nogalē līdz sabrukumam 1919. gada vidū. Promocijas darbs hronoloģiski aptver lielinieku režīma pastāvēšanas „aktīvo posmu”, kad tas piedalījās cīņā par varu Latvijā. Darbā galvenā uzmanība ir pievērsta Padomju Latvijas militāro un politisko procesu analīzei. Tā ietvaros aplūkotas Padomju Latvijas izveidošanas politiskās aizkulises un militārais fons; lielinieku režīma īstenotās politikas galvenie principi; represīvā, ekonomiskā un militarā politika; sabiedrības noskaņojuma izmaiņas un Padomju Latvijas sabrukuma apstākļi. Doctoral thesis „Military and Political Development of Soviet Latvia (December, 1918 – January, 1919)” investigates the development of the Bolshevik regime from its beginning at the end of 1918 until its collapse in the middle of 1919. Chronologically the present thesis include and concentrate upon the „active period” of the existance of the Bolshevik regime when it took an active part in the struggle for power in Latvia. Particular attention in the thesis is paid to the analyses of the military and political processes in Latvia. Within its framework when considering the military background at the time of existance of Soviet Latvia, we also indicate to the hidden course behind it dealing with special principles of the Bolshevik regime and its repressive, economic and military policy and the successive changes in the spirit and mood of the society of that time consequently leading to berakdown of Soviet Latvia.
