Latvijas upju zivju sabiedrības un to noteicošie faktori

Abstract

Zivju sabiedrības struktūru upēs nosaka dažāda līmeņa faktori, sākot ar bioģeogrāfiskiem faktoriem līdz lokāliem faktoriem upes posmā, biotopā un mikrobiotopā. Promocijas darba mērķis ir veikt Latvijas upju zivju sabiedrību struktūras izpēti un noteikt dabisko un antropogēno faktoru ietekmi uz šīm sabiedrībām. Pētījums balstīts uz materiāla analīzi, kas ievākts laikā no 1992.- 2011.gadam. Analizēta vides un antropogēno faktoru ietekme uz zivju sabiedrības struktūru. Datu analīzes rezultāti liecina, ka primārie faktori, kas nosaka zivju sabiedrību struktūru Latvijas upēs ir upes sateces baseina platība, upes kritums un temperatūras režīms. Antropogēnajai ietekmei ir pakārtota nozīme. Latvijas upēs pēc zivju sabiedrībām iespējams izdalīt 9 biotopus, kas savukārt iedalāmi 5 pamattipos un 4 pārejas tipa biotopos. Izdalīti 7 upju tipi ar tiem raksturīgām zivju sabiedrībām.

The structure of fish communities in rivers is determined by factors at a number of levels, extending from bio-geographical factors up to local factors. The aim of the doctoral thesis is to undertake research on the structure of fish communities in Latvian rivers and to determine the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors on these communities. The research is based on an analysis of material which was obtained in the period from 1992 – 2011. The influence of environmental and anthropogenic factors on the structure of fish communities was analyzed. The results of data analysis show that the primary factors which determine the structure of fish communities in Latvian rivers are the width of the river catchment basin, the gradient of the river and the temperature regime. Anthropogenic influence has a minor importance. It’s possible to classify fish communities in Latvian rivers into 9 biotopes, which in turn can be classified into 5 basic types and 4 transitional type biotopes. Seven river types were classified by their characteristic fish communities.
