Sonets jaunākajā latviešu dzejā (2000-2016)

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā “Sonets jaunākajā latviešu dzejā (2000–2016)” pētīts soneta formas lietojums un tās transformācijas mūsdienu latviešu dzejā. Analizēti Jāņa Rokpeļņa, Arvja Vigula, Jura Kunnosa, Leona Brieža un Eināra Pelša dzejoļi, salīdzinot tos ar soneta formu tās tradicionālajā izpratnē un pievēršot uzmanību sonetu kopīgajām un atšķirīgajām iezīmēm šo un citu autoru darbos. Īpaša uzmanība tiek pievērsta sonetu struktūrai, tematikai, rindu un atskaņu īpatnībām, to paralēlēm. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika apkopots teorētiskais materiāls par soneta attīstību Rietumu un latviešu literatūrā līdz mūsdienām, analīzei atlasot raksturīgākos soneta transformāciju piemērus. Rezultātā konstatēta soneta formu daudzveidība un retā atbilsme kādai no tradicionālajām soneta shēmām visos tās elementos.

In the bachelor’s thesis “Sonnet in recent Latvian poetry (2000–2016)” the use of sonnet form and its transformations in contemporary Latvian poetry has been researched. By analysing and comparing the works by Jānis Rokpelnis, Arvis Viguls, Juris Kunnoss, Leons Briedis and Einārs Pelšs, the common and differentiating aspects of contemporary Latvian sonnet have been identified and described by paying attention to their interplay with traditional sonnets. Particular focus has been devoted to the examination of structure, themes, verse and rhyme schemes. An overview of the theoretical development of sonnet and its history both in Western and Latvian poetry has been provided. By selecting the most representative examples of sonnet transformation for analysis the thesis arrives at results that show the diversity of sonnet forms and the rare conformity to traditional sonnets.
