Aizsarglietu stāstījumu folklora Latgalē (pēc 2018. un 2019. gada lauka pētījumu materiāliem)

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Aizsarglietu stāstījumu folklora Latgalē (pēc 2018. un 2019. gada lauka pētījumu materiāliem)”. Bakalaura darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, kas ir raksturīgs aizsarglietu stāstījumu folklorai Latgalē, kāda ir tās specifika, vai un kā ir transformējušās ar aizsarglietām saistītās latviešu tautas tradīcijas, salīdzinot ar latviešu folkloras materiālu. Darbs sastāv no ievada, trim nodaļām un, secinājumiem. Pirmajā nodaļā tika analizēti aizsarglietu stāstījumi, kas vēsta par mājas aizsardzību (māju, īpašumu aizsargājošiem augiem, ornamentālajām zīmēm, baznīcā svētītajām aizsarglietām), un tika noskaidroti aizsarglietu izmantošanas dažādie nolūki. Otrajā nodaļā tika raksturoti personīgās aizsardzības priekšmeti, un secināts, ka arī individuālajai aizsardzībai cilvēki visvairāk izvēlas izmantot baznīcā svētītas lietas. Trešajā nodaļā skaidrota aizsarglietu stāstījumu struktūra, atklājot to tipiskās ievadformulas, laika un vietas norādes un citas tai raksturīgākās iezīmes.

The topic of the bachelor’s thesis is “Folklore of Apotropaic Narratives in Latgale (based on 2018 and 2019 field research materials)“. The aim of the thesis is to research characteristic of folklore of apotropaic narratives in Latgale and how latvian traditions have changed in regard to apotropaic symbols by comparing it with materials of Latvian folklore. The bachelor’s thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters and conclusions. In the first chapter apotropaic narratives, which are connected to protection of home (house and property protecting herbs, ornamental marks, church-blessed objects), are analyzed, different purposes of apotropaic objects were studied. In the second chapter objects of self preservation are described. It was concluded that for individual protection people usually choose objects that are blessed in church. In the third chapter the structure of apotropaic narratives is explained by describing their typical opening form, indication of time and place and covering their other characteristics.
