Mārtiņa Lutera pedagoģiskie uzskati 16. gadsimta izglītības kontekstā

Abstract

Maģistra darba aktualitāte ir saistīta ar nepieciešamību saskatīt protestantu reformācijas dziļās saknes vēlajos viduslaikos. Jauni secinājumi būtu izmantojami ekumēniskajā dialogā, kā arī neļautu reformāciju lietot ideoloģiskos mērķos. Pētījuma mērķis ir apzināt Mārtiņa Lutera pedagoģiskos uzskatus 16. gadsimta izglītības kontekstā. Darbā apskatīta vācu reformatora Mārtiņa Lutera izglītība un pedagoģiskā darbība, ar mērķi noskaidrot viņa pedagoģisko uzskatu avotus un formulēšanas kontekstu. Darbā izmantota vēsturiski ģenētiskā un sistemātiskā metode, lai izpētītu, kā vēsturiskais konteksts un Lutera personīgais tapšanas ceļš ietekmējis viņa uzskatus, un kā tie izklāstīti primārajos avotos. Pētījuma ietvaros Mārtiņa Lutera pedagoģiskie uzskati un mērķi analizēti konkrēta konteksta problēmsituācijās tapušie darbi: Mārtiņa Lutera Mazais un Lielais Katehisms, eseja „Visu Vācijas pilsētu rātskungiem par kristīgu skolu ierīkošanu un uzturēšanu" un „Sprediķis par to, lai bērnus laistu skolā." Pētījumā secināts, ka humānisma ietekmē Luters popularizēja personisko brīvību, izglītību, senās valodas un antīko literatūru, bet Lutera dziļās saknes vēlo viduslaiku domā un teoloģijā, lika viņam ne tikai mācīt par personiskām attiecībām ar Dievu, bet koncentrēties specifiski uz reliģisku izglītību, un par izglītības mērķi uzskatīt indoktrināciju evaņģēliskajā mācībā un cīņu pret velnu.

The Pedagogical Views of Martin Luther in a 16th Century Educational Context The Master thesis statement: “The pedagogical views of Martin Luther were influenced by humanism and the Reformaton Movement, which determined his pedagogical goal, as evangelisation and indoctrination in Church teaching.” The subject of the Master's thesis is related to the need to find the deep roots of the Protestant Reformation in the late Middle Ages. It would be useful in the ecumenical dialogue and would not allow reformation and Luther to be used for ideological purposes. The aim of the study is to identify Martin Luther's pedagogical views in the context of 16th Century education. The paper examines the education and pedagogical work of German Reformer Martin Luther, with the aim of finding out, via research and examining, the sources of his pedagogical views, and the context of their formulation. The work uses a historical-genetic and systematic method defined by Bernhard Lohse to investigate how the historical context and the personal path of Luther influenced his views and how they were presented in primary sources. Within the framework of the study, Martin Luther's pedagogical views and education policy are analysed in The Small and Large Catechisms, the essay “To the Councilmen of All Cities in Germany That They Establish and Maintain Christian Schools (1524)” and “Sermon on Keeping Children in School (1530)”. The study concludes that, due to the influance of humanism, Luther promoted personal freedom, education, language and antique literature. Luther's deep roots in late medieval thought and theology, led him to teach personal relationships with God, to focus specifically on religious education and to regard indoctrination in evangelical doctrine and the struggle against the devil as a goal of education.
