Abstract

Maģistra darbā Islāma problemātika 15. gadsimta kristīgo intelektuāļu darbos tiek analizēti pāvesta Pija II, Trapezundas Georgija, Georgija Amiruci un Genādija Sholārija darbi. Turku ekspansijas apstākļos 15. gadsimta vidū islāma problemātika atkal kļuva aktuāla Eiropai. Tuvo Austrumu krusta karu laikmetā gūtā komunikācijas pieredze jaunajos apstākļos nespēja sniegt problēmas risinājumu. Avotu autori, katrs no sava skatu punkta un ar savu risinājuma redzējumu, meklē iespējas veidot kristietības un islāma mijiedarbību miermīlīgā ceļā. Risinājumu tiek meklēti atbilstoši kristietības ietvaram un Renesanses laikā valdošajām humānisma idejām.

In the Master's Thesis The Problematic of Islam in the Writings of Christian Intellectualsof the 15th Century are analyzed the works of Pope Pius II, George of Trebizond, George Amiroutzes and Gennadius Scholarius. Under conditions of Turkish expansion in the middle of the 15th century, the issue of Islam became topical for Europe again. The experience of communication in the new circumstances of the Middle East Crusades was unable to solve the problem. The authors of the sources, each from their own point of view and with their own vision of the solution, are looking for ways to create a peaceful interaction between Christianity and Islam. Solutions are being sought in accordance with the framework of Christianity and the Renaissance humanist prevailing ideas.
